Chapter 47

Hayes's POV

It's been 2 weeks since Kaitlyn and I made up and since that day it seems like we're almost drifting apart

Kaitlyn's getting headaches more and more and she can't do much without getting one

I worry about her but she wants to be independent so I back off

We see each other everyday but it's just not the same when we see each other.

The other day we were watching a movie because Kaitlyn's head was hurting and we didn't even sit next to each other.

The whole day we only touched once, and that was when I helped Kaitlyn down the stairs

Once after her surgery I hope things are back to normal between us

"Hey babe, are you hungry?" I asked Kaitlyn sitting next to me

"Um yea, I just want a sandwich though" Kaitlyn responded sounding like she was in pain

She started to get up but I motioned for her to sit back down

"I got it don't worry" I said patting her hand

She glared at me but I kept walking to the kitchen

Lately Kaitlyn has created some anger issues when I do things for her, her mom told me it comes with the headaches, not that I'm doing anything wrong

"I told you Hayes two weeks ago that I wanted to do things myself, not you worry about me all the time!" Kaitlyn yelled from the living room

"Kaitlyn can I not just be a boyfriend and make my girlfriend a sandwich!" I yelled back

But then I remembered that Marybeth told me to not argue with her because then she'll have to take more medicine

I sighed and walked her sandwich to her

"Here" I said placing Kaitlyn's sandwich in front of her

"Thank you" she said quietly

I looked at her and sat down next to her, seconds later I heard sniffling next to me

"Kaitlyn are you ok?" I asked wrapping my arm around her

"No.." Kaitlyn said leaning her head on my shoulder

"I have these random out breaks of anger for no reasons! I'm scared sometime I'm gonna get so mad that you'll leave and not come back for a long time" Kaitlyn sniffled out

I then wrapped both arms around her and let her cry into my chest

"Kaitlyn, I made a promise to you that I would be here always for you. Just because you get mad sometimes will not make me leave" I said comforting her

"Ow ow Hayes my pills quick please" Kaitlyn said grabbing her head

I ran to the kitchen looking for them, they were no where to be seen

"Kaitlyn where did you put them last?" I asked searching everywhere

Kaitlyn came stumbling in holding her head
"In here" she said

"There not in here Kaitlyn" I said nervous

She looked up at me scared and grabbed her head. Kaitlyn let out the scariest scream I've ever heard then fell to the ground

I ran around the counter and went down to my knees next to her

I was so scared I didn't know what to do so I grabbed my phone and called Nash and Sarah

"Come on Nash answer!" I screamed into the phone

"Hayes help me" Kaitlyn said going into a ball on the floor
