Chapter 13

Kaitlyn's POV

I waved to Hailey and got up with Sarah and Nash to meet the doctor

I held onto Nash's hand just hoping the doctor had good news, nash squeezed my hand telling me everything's going to be ok

When we got to the doctor he smiled at us and lead us to hayes's room, "hayes did great and everything is out of his system, right now he is resting and he can leave tomorrow"

The doctor then opened the door for us and walked away to the next patient, I walked in first to see hayes laying in the bed sleeping

I walked slowly towards him not wanting to wake him, nash and Sarah took a seat on the couch on the other side of hayes while I sat in the chair right next to him.

I just wanted him to wake soon so we could talk and I could See his bright blue eyes. I grabbed his hand and sat there looking at him

*4 hours later*

"Zzzzzz" "Kaitlyn?" "Zzzzzz" "kaitlyn?!" I woke up butting heads with hayes, I then grabbed my head in pain "ow, sorry bout that" hayes then grabbed my head and kissed my forehead

I was half way asleep until I realized hayes was up, I wrapped my arms around him and hugged him for what felt like forever, hayes snuggled his head into my hair and it was perfect

"Have you been up for a long time?" I asked letting go, "no I got up about 7 minutes ago and I felt someone holding my hand until I saw you with your face down next to me." I giggled at the thought, he smiled and continued

"So I just kind of watched you and saw nash and Sarah asleep over there," hayes pointed to Sarah laying on top of nash asleep on the couch.

"Then I got bored so I thought I would see if you would wake up!" I smiled and looked into his eyes

"So the doctor said you can leave tomorrow and we can get out of here!" I said annoyed "someone doesn't like me in the hospital do they!" Hayes said smirking while I laughed "well I don't like hospitals and I would like us to have that date without you sick." I said smiling at his blue eyes, I then started frowning which made him frown

"What's wrong?" Hayes asked concerned, I thought for a second "I'm just mad at myself" "why!" Hayes looked sad "because I should've looked for you sooner after you left because if I did we wouldn't be here and you'd be ok!" I started tearing up, when a tear slipped hayes took his thumb and wiped it away

"Kaitlyn it's ok, I'm ok! They could've got you and I would've been the same way you are right now"

"But I'm different, I'm just ordinary and no one knows me, you have millions of fans and if they heard you were in the hospital they would all freak while if I was here no one would." By then I was crying so much

Hayes just looked at me and grabbed me for a hug "I would care that you were here, I never want anything to hurt you and I will make sure that happens"

Hayes pulled me up onto his hospital bed and I cried into his chest "I promise Kaitlyn McCoy, nothing will happen to you as long as I'm here"

That was the last thing I heard until I fell asleep again in hayes's arms

Hayes's POV

*next morning*

I was woken up by someone shaking me, when I tried to open my eyes the light was blinding

They then covered my eyes so I could open them "Here buddy open them now" I knew it was nash trying to wake me up, I guess I can leave now. When I leaned up in the hospital bed I noticed nash was the only person in the room with me.
