Chapter 38

(Beware, really long chapter)

Hayes's POV

"LETS TURN UP AND START THE DAY!"

I was woken up to Nash screaming in my face and jumping on my bed.

"Let's go birthday boy!" Cameron screamed smacking me with a pillow

I leaned up in bed and rubbed my eyes "what time is it?" I asked yawning

"9 am! This scavenger starts early buddy" Nash said getting off of me and throwing some clothes at me

I caught them before they hit my face and walked slowly to the bathroom

In the bathroom I found another one of those cards and I brought it close to my face to read

'Happy birthday! Let's get this day started, gets dressed and head down to the dinning hall for breakfast :)'

I smiled at the card and threw on the clothes quickly and left the bathroom

"Lookin fresh birthday boy" Cam said wrapping his arm around my shoulder

"Let's roll guys" Nash said opening the door for us

We found the jacks and mahogany all ready ready in the hallway so we could all walk down together

"Happy birthday hayes!" Johnson said bro hugging me

"Happy birthday 2000" gilinksy said doing the same

"Ahhh your getting so old! Happy birthday!" Mahogany said hugging me normally

"Thanks guys" I said checking my phone for anything from Kaitlyn

Still nothing, maybe she's still sleeping. Her head did hurt yesterday

"I'm starving, let's go" Nash said pressing the button for the elevator

The elevator door binged open and we all stepped in

As soon as the doors opened to the lobby, we could all smell the breakfast cooking in the dinner hall

"Hayes can go first to get his food" Mahogany said pushing me towards the front

I smiled at her and grabbed my plate for the buffet

I found a nice table near the back of the hall that had enough seats for the 6 of us

Once we all had our food on our plates, we enjoyed a big breakfast with pancakes and bacon

"This place has really good pancakes!" I said with a mouth full of pancakes

Everyone laughed at me and continued eating

I took a piece of bacon in my hand when my phone buzzed in my pocket and I dropped my bacon

I wiped my hand off and pulled my phone out to see it said

*New message from Kaitlyn💖

I smiled and unlocked my phone to read the message

Kaitlyn💖: good morning babe! I hope your birthday is amazing! I miss you tons, I love you❤️

I quickly responded back

Hayes💕: thanks beautiful, I wish you were here with me :(

Kaitlyn💖: me too :( don't worry tho we'll see each other soon!

Hayes💕: I know, I gtg but I'll ttyl, I love you!

I locked my phone and put it away to finished my plate of food
