Chapter 30

Kaitlyn's POV

~2 days later~

"Kaitlyn guess what day it is?!" My mom said from across the kitchen table

My family and I were actually all sitting down for a family breakfast for once and it was nice and calm

I pretended to think and brightened my expression "I get my braces off today!" I said smiling big

My dad put his paper down and smiled at me "I'm very excited to see how your teeth do"

I took a bite of my French toast and nodded

"Dad how are you even making it to work and taking her to the orthodontist?" Sarah asked movies her eggs around her plate with her fork

"I asked nash to come pick her up since your busy today"

Sarah was meeting Jeremy today at the airport and was gonna spend the day with him showing him North Carolina

Sarah smiled "aw he's so nice" Sarah picked up her plate and put it in the sink and walked up stairs

"Well I guess it just leaves us three!" My mom laughed picking up her coffee cup

"Actually I need to go get ready to go" I said looking down at my pajamas

"Well hurry, we have to leave soon!" My dad said tapping his watch

I jogged up stairs but felt the pain go through my leg so I slowed it down going up

I walked in to my room and picked out my AERO sparkly black crop top and white high waisted shorts

I put on my pink sperrys, curled my hair, and added some mascara. I checked myself out in my mirror and smiled one last time with braces

"Kaitlyn time to go!"

I walked down the stairs and out the front door with my dad

"Excited?" My dad asked starting the car

"More than ever!" I said pulling my phone out to see I got a text

Hayes: see you later after you get your braces off!

Kaitlyn: see ya babe

I locked my phone and waited till we reached the orthodontist

Finally inside the orthodontist I signed in and waited for my name to be called

"Kaitlyn McCoy?" A short lady with glasses called

I smiled at her and walked back with her

"How's your day going?" She asked smiling back

"Great thanks for asking" I said sitting down in the chair

I waited a moment till the orthodontist came over to me

"Well Kaitlyn excited?!" He asked patting my shoulder

"Yup let's do it!" I said, "ok well were gonna give you some laughing gas to make it easier to get them off your teeth

I leaned back in my chair and inhaled the gas to start the process

"See ya in a bit Kaitlyn!" My orthodontist said smiling

"Wait what?-" I said but suddenly blacked out

Hayes's POV

I ran into Nash's room and jumped up and down on his bed like a little kid

"NASH! CAMERON IS COMING!"
