Chapter 4

Sarah's POV

After telling Hayes his hair was very nice nash and I went back to talking. "So nash, vine famous huh?" I said smiling. "Yea I just decided to get the app one day and that's where it sky rocketed" Nash was now one of the most successful teens out there and I get to be friends with him. I just wish I was in a relationship with him and not hiding my feelings the whole time.

I know this might seem immature but I'm a little jealous of Kaitlyn's friend back home, Grace. She has a huge crush on Nash and Grace is a year older than Kaitlyn so grace is 15 and turning 16 soon. That means nash and grace will be the same age and they might meet someday and hit things off. Grace is very pretty and an easy catch for Nash but I've had a crush on Nash longer. I'm sounding so immature right now. I mean come on Nash and I are the same age and our birthdays are so close, we will both be turning 17 this year. I know I shouldn't be worrying bug you never know.

Nash is almost sending me mixed messages. He stares and smiles at me when I talk but then I ask him about anyone he likes and he talks about this other girl he knows. "Are you sure I don't know her nash?" "No Sarah you don't know the girl I like" nash wouldn't even look me in the eye when he said that. Ugh why are boys so confusing!

Tonight when Kaitlyn gets home I need to talk to her privately because I need her to figure out who Nash likes! It's killing me and I just really want to know so I can make sure she's good for my best friend. I hate that word. "Best friend" it's like a label, u can't get rid of it easily. This job is gonna be hard but I think Kaitlyn can do it. No more bestfriend label.

Nash's POV

oh my gosh Sarah! Stop asking who I like! I can't take it I can't even look into her eyes or I'll get lost with words. I want to tell her so badly but I just don't want to ruin this friendship we have. Now don't get me wrong I want to date Sarah so badly but I don't think she wants to do the same. If I ask her and she says no then things get awkward between us and it all won't be the same. This girl sends so many mixed messages! First she's all sweet and hugs a lot and calls me cute names but then sits away from me on a couch and when I get closer she scoots away. WHAT IS SHE THINKING! I can't take it anymore I'm just gonna ask her out at the beach tomorrow.

I'll get the boys to help me set up a mini show for us then I'll ask her to go out with me, I know I know it's a lot for just asking someone out but I really like Sarah and If I'm gonna make things happen we gotta go big!

"Hey Sarah?" "Yea Nashy?" Ok here we go just say do you want to go to the beach tomorrow with me. "Ummm *come on nash* would you lime, ugh I mean like to go with mel, I mean me to the beach tomorrow?" "Of course!" I started to frown Until I functioned what she just said, I started smiling big. Yes thank goodness she said yes! I hugged her then she said she had to go so this is great! I have time to call the boys and plan the big surprise!

Fast forward to when Kaitlyn's home

Kaitlyn's POV

"I had a fine night." I said smiling. "That's great now come on" Sarah said dragging me up stairs to my now furnished room. I guess they brought furniture while I was gone. "We need to talk." "Ok what is it" our husky sky sat on my lap while Sarah talked. "Ok nash likes some girl but he won't tell me who! I need you to find out or have hayes help you cause I need to know" I saw desperation in Sarah's eyes then I instantly knew who Nash likes but she kept talking. "Tomorrow nash is taking me to the beach maybe I could get it out of hi-" "Sarah" "what?" How clueless is this girl? "He like you! Don't you ever see it! He hugs you from behind, he buys you things, he acts like a gentleman around you, he's taking you to the beach tomorrow! He's probably gonna ask you out there." Once I was finished Sarah sat there in shock then a smile appeared on her face. "Your absolutely right!" After that Sarah ran out of my to her room and started screaming. Wow you can tell she's in love.

I heard a bing from my phone on my night stand, I read it was from hayes.

{k-Kaitlyn, h-hayes}

H-wanna meet up at the park tomorrow?

K-sure! What are we gonna do there?

H-you'll see :) just wear athletic clothes

K-ok see ya tomorrow! Goodnight :)

H-night :)

"Why athletic clothes?" I said out loud but shrugged and walk downstairs with sky. Ever since we've had sky her and hayes have been bestfriends. I don't know if it's because of the same eye color or what but they love eachother. I grabbed a snack and sat on the couch with sky, we shared Nutella and graham crackers cause even tho sky's a dog we both love this snack. Sarah finally came downstairs from her freak fest and sat down next to sky. "So sister tell me about your night with Stacy and hayes." She stared me straight in the eyes not leaving mine. "Um well one stop staring at me like I'm nash." I mentally high fived myself for that one and she just glared at me and turned her attention to sky. "Ok so we got our ice cream and we talked about what's happened in the past 6 years while we've been gone. After awhile, well things got awkward." "Why?" I took one last bite of my graham cracker and started "Because I found out Stacy and hayes dated last year and they didn't tell me but there're over. It was just weird so because there both my bestfriends, then I went to the bathroom to think and hayes came in and we decided to come home and now I'm here." After that I looked away hoping to be done. Sarah looked at me, I knew she didn't believe me that I told my whole night. "OK fine then when hayes brought me home we held hands and when he dropped me off he kissed me on the cheek...." I got quieter on the last part. Sarah's eyes widened and she started jumping around. "Omg!!!!! I knew you two would happen sometime!!" "Were not a thing he was just being friendly" "yea ok" Sarah said smirking at me

Hayes POV

Was that too much? Omg I think kissing her on the cheek was too much. "Nash are you home?" I screamed waiting for a response. "Yea bud in my room" I ran to Nash's room and slammed his door shut as soon as I entered. "Woah bro what happened?" "I kissed her on the cheek." "Kaitlyn?" "Yes Nash Kaitlyn!" My heart was beating and I had to sit down,

Nash scooted his chair closer to me and looked at me with a blank expression. "Nice job hayes." "What?" "Nice job your one step closer to getting kaitlyn" he said smiling. "No nash! I don't think she even likes me" nash could tell in my voice I was disappointed. "Hayes it takes time! Your not gonna get her in the first night she comes back." Nash is right, kaitlyn did just come back.

"Maybe I can take her to the park we played at tomorrow?" "Perfect hayes" Nash said smiling, I'm so glad I have nash. "Now get out I need to finish my video." "Wait can I join?" "Ugh fine."

It's was a #asknash video so a few questions were asked to me as well. "Ok next question, Ohh this ones for hass" "ok give it to me" "this person asks, hayes do you like someone and what do they look like?" Nash looked at me waiting for an answer. I was frozen then decided to do it. "Uhh yes I like someone." "Ok now what do they look like?" Nash asked. "Well she has light brown with light curls at the end of her hair, she has braces, she's tall and she has blue/green color changing eyes." I took a deep breath and smiled at Nash, he did the same back then said "ok that's enough of hayes, goodbye!" And by that nash pushed me out of the camera and I left to text kaitlyn.

I asked her if she wanted to go to the park tomorrow, I think I should show her how to play some football. I'll show her my quarter back skills and maybe that will get us closer again. After she accepted I took a deep breath and fell on my bed still dressed up from tonight's events. The image of kissing Kaitlyn's cheek was the last thing I thought before entering deep sleep
