Once I got over my shock over what just happened, I throw on some light washed ripped jeans, white tennis shoes, with a white sweater and caramel peacoat on top. As for my hair I threw that up in a messy ponytail and went out front of the gym to meet my aunt.
She pulls up in her car and we drive off to a nice café down the street.
We eat and chat about old times and things happening at work for her lately. It feels so nice to have these normal times with her again like we used to. I know it pains her to think about the time we lost together since we were the only family we had.
"Rosie, I have something to tell you, but don't worry it's good news", my aunt says suddenly. "Tony and I have been discussing how your training has been going for a while now and we both agreed that it would be beneficial for you to move into the compound".
"Really?! Wait... Am I going there just for training purposes or because you guys want me to join the team?", energy rushes throughout me at the possibility.
"For both actually. With your powers there is no doubt that you won't join the team officially. However, before you can jump into action you need more training. It's the perfect place for you to be because everyone will be there to help you".
I take a deep breath and smile broadly at her. This is exactly what I needed.
"I can't believe it! When do I get to move in?".
She smiles at me before saying, "Tomorrow! We've made all the preparations for you. All we have to do is pack your things today and then I'll drive you straight over tomorrow afternoon".
"Hell yes! Lets get going I have to pack!", I said grabbing my bag and starting to get up.
...
After we pack my things up in the car, we start our drive over to the compound. On the way over I can't stop thinking about what was happening and how excited I am feeling.
The compound was a lot bigger than I had imagined. The pictures my aunt had shown me on the way over did not do this place justice. It was beautiful, and it definitely had Stark written all over it. He has a way of making all things created by him amazing and flashy all at the same time.
Tony Stark himself is there to greet us when we arrive.
"Hey kid glad to have you here!", he says as I get out of the car and give him a hug. "Now before I take you in and show you everything, I have to say one thing. Which is, don't break my windows".
Over the amount of time that I've trained with Tony, I've gotten a reputation of breaking windows when I'm angry or frustrated.
"Right, so no windows but does that mean mirrors are okay? How about some of your fancy cars? Are those fine to blast? I mean you did just say windows", I try so hard to keep a straight face while saying all of this.
"Touch my cars mini seer and I'm putting on the suit".
"Mini seer?" I say laughing, "Come on Stark you can think of a better nickname than that!"
"It's a work in progress, we'll get there".
"Alright, alright you two enough joking let's get this stuff up to your room", my aunt says gesturing to all my bags in the car.
"There's no need for that Maria I'll have my suits bring it all in. I'll just show Rosaleen around and then let her settle in", Tony says.
After he says that some of his suits come flying in seemingly out of nowhere and begin carrying my things into the compound.
"Well that saves my back from carrying her things all the way up to her room! Hey Rosie, I'm going to head out now", my aunt begins but at those words I interrupt her.
