It took time, but eventually I was able to help Bucky remember who he was a little at a time.

Once he finally did remember himself and me, he was just as suspicious about Adina encouraging our relationship as I was. But in the end she never caused any harm or used one of us against the other.

I suppose it was after this that I did do what she asked and I was more open to the things she wanted to show me.

The magic, powers, rituals, clothing and parties all started to manipulate me a little at a time. I was enthralled by the beauty and power of it all that I slowly started to lose myself in it.

I felt torn.

I felt like I had two different halves, and they'd each take turns trying to control me. One side was the person that I've always been, and the other is one that started to develop the more my powers grew.

As much as Bucky loved me, he was angry at me for accepting and engaging with them after all that they had done and continued to do.

It placed a splinter in our relationship. Sometimes it would cause us to drift apart after we had an argument but then we'd find ourselves in the others arms again.

...

I twirl around in a beautiful black gown, that covers very little of my body in front of a floor lengthened mirror.

Every part of my figure looks seductive yet graceful at the same time. I smile at my reflection satisfied with my appearance.

"I think you're starting to like it here more than you should", a voice says behind me.

"Don't you know how to knock?", I say in a slightly irritated voice, looking at the person through the mirror.

The dark figure saunters nearer to me until they are directly behind me making the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

"You've become a real brat lately", the man behind me responds in a low voice.

My eyes meet the winter soldier's in the mirror as I laugh, "Oh don't be that way solider, I'm just having fun". I twirl my fingertips and small gold spirals play around them.

"I think a little too much lately", he says brushing the hair from my neck causing my skin to tingle. I turn around slowly to face him and those piercing steel eyes of his.

"What do you think of the dress?", I ask softly.

His eyes leisurely scan down my frame taking in my appearance, "I think it suits you".

I raise an eyebrow at him before brushing past and laying out on the lounge chair in my room, "Well that certainly doesn't say much. Should I be taking that in a good way or a bad one? Considering the fact that you did just call me a brat".

A smirk crosses his face, "I'm just not one for many words".

"Wow, lying doesn't look good on you soldier. You and I have spent many times talking together, not including the times you come to reprimand me for something. Which, I'm suspecting is your reason for coming here right now", I say lazily.

He doesn't respond as his face changes and he gives me a sullen look, "You're right I did come here for that, because you were reckless today".

I sigh and roll my eyes, "I was doing what I was made to do. You can't be upset with me just because you aren't as strong as I am and can put her in her place like I can".

"You think that's why I'm upset with you?", he says raising his voice.

"Obviously", I say in a bored tone.
