I woke up the next morning safely and comfortably tucked into Steve's strong arms.

He leans and gives me a big kiss on my cheek, making me wrinkle my nose and giggle at the ticklish feeling of his beard against me.

Steve chuckles at my reaction and does it again. "Stoppp", I giggle as I try to bury my face in his chest.

He proceeds to cover me in kisses as I laugh, and when he stops I peek up at him before fully lifting my face up to meet his. "Please tell me you don't have any obligations today", I ask him giving him puppy dog eyes.

He smirks at me and gently gives me a kiss, "No. I told Tony and Fury that I'm going to be on leave until I know that you're okay".

I hum happily at those words because there's something that I want him to do today.

"Stevie... I want you to do something today", I begin.

"Mmm and what's that?", he asks me as his eyes sparkle. I trace one of my fingers across his chest before I continue, "I want you to call Nat and bring her back".

He can tell how much this means to me to amend their relationship, and that I want her here with me again, so he slowly nods his head in concurrence, "I'll make the call".

"Good. Because I can't stand the thought of you two having a strained relationship because of me", I confess.

Steve's eyes grow sorrowful, "Rosie, don't blame yourself. It was my fault this happened".

I decide not to go back and forth with him in who's fault it was because I know that at the end of the day it was mine for overextending myself. "Just fix this please", I tell him.

He quietly nods his head and kisses my forehead.

After breakfast Steve goes to his office to make the call to Nat, so I figure that gives me some time to visit with Wanda.

I find her sitting out on the patio with a hot drink in her hand, so I make my way over and sit down beside her, "Hey Wands".

She smiles up at me from her cup, "Rosie! How are you feeling today?".

"I'm honestly feeling perfectly fine! I mean I know I was out for a long time but it just feels like I woke up from a nap", I confess.

"I figured as much. I checked on you everyday to make sure, and every time you were dreaming", she informs me.

I tilt my head to the side curious to what she just said, "I was dreaming? You didn't see anything else in my head.. did you?".

She blows on her drink before responding, "I didn't see any new memories in your head... But I did hear a conversation. I was in the room alone with you, so I knew it wasn't actually happening. And I didn't recognize the voices".

That one conversation in my head is the only thing that I remember, part of me thought it was them talking about me while my mind was coming more to consciousness, but now I know that it was a memory.

"Well, that confirms what I assumed... I can't remember them really saying much, but what do you think they meant when they said it was in my veins?", I inquire.

The tip of her tongue plays with her back teeth as she thinks for a moment, "When you came back you had more powers than when you left, right?".

I nod my head, "Then they were probably referring to that and the tests they were doing on you.. But to be honest Rosaleen, I was more interested in what they said about your relationship with someone. I think they were referring to Barnes".

I frown at her words. I know exactly what she's insinuating, and I don't like it. The memories I've had with him doesn't mean that anything romantic had been going on, and despite how annoyingly attractive he is and how I'm curious about him, it wasn't and isn't anything more.
