"What are we talking about over here?", Sharon says as she joins the group and brushes up against Steve. Well I'm just loving this!

Tony is about to open his mouth when Pepper quickly interjects, "Annddd we were just leaving!", she says as she starts to drag him away. "I should probably go help her", my aunt tells us as she gives me a smile and walks away.

"Hope they didn't leave on my account", Sharon says to us. She turns to Steve and sees him and I exchanging looks, that's when she notices me.

"I don't think we've met, I'm Sharon. Are you the kid that Stevie has been training?", she asks me, making my blood boil instantly.

"Uh oh", I hear Nat mutter into her glass as she takes a big drink.

I give Sharon a fake smile trying to hide my anger. "I suppose I am", I say. Unfortunately she keeps going, "Stevie is a great teacher! He's definitely taught me a thing or two. I wish he would again...", she says flirtatiously putting a hand on his arm.

I look down at it for a second before saying, "Oh, I'm well aware of how good he is. I just didn't know how many others he's taught", I finish raising my eyebrow at him.

Steve clears his throat and shifts letting her hand fall off him, "I didn't really teach her anything. I think Natasha was the one who gave you a few pointers Sharon", he says directing the conversation away from him.

Nat is about to respond when Sharon cuts her off, "Well then maybe you can teach me something now? There's a few quiet spots we could go to".

Nat looks as equally as annoyed as I am since Sharon cut her off. "You might be in the wrong line of business babe", Nat tells her with a fake smile to match mine.

"Oh I'll take my chances. From what I remember he's certainly worth the trouble", she says still keeping her eyes on him.

That's when I lose it. Her glass shatters in her hand, causing a few people around that heard to look at what happened.

"Oh my god!", Sharon yells dropping the remaining glass and looking at her ruined dress.  Steve and Nat look at me knowing exactly what caused the glass to break.

The others start to help her clean up as she's wiping liquid from her face. I instantly feel guilty about snapping like that even though she deserves it, so I make my exit while they are distracted.

Steve knew that it was me that shattered her glass. I'm so embarrassed I just need to get away!

I hurry through the building trying to make it to my room without being seen by any wandering guests.

I open the door to my room and close it quickly behind me, leaning against it as I run my fingers through my hair thinking about what happened.

I stand up taking off my heels and throwing them to the side as I start to move towards my bed, that's when my door flies open scaring the shit out of me.

Steve comes barging through the door and slams it shut behind him. "What was that?", he demands.

I turn around towards my bed picking up my pjs, "I don't know what you're talking about", I tell him. It doesn't hurt to try to play dumb.
