Chapter 66: Temptation

Two weeks quickly fly by and I find myself beginning to fall back into my regular routine that I had before I left.

Except that this time, I have two boys to distract me in my spare time.

"Rosie! Did you even hear what I said?", Wanda says to me snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Oops", I say blushing as I tear my eyes away from watching Steve and Bucky.

"Are they still working on that bike?", she asks following my gaze as we continue to walk past.

I nod my head, "They sure are".

"Why doesn't Steve just let Stark fix it? He'd have it done in like 5 minutes", she replies.

"That's true. But according to Steve he wants to do things the old fashioned way", I tell her.

She lightly laughs, "He's the old fashioned way".

"He most certainly is", I agree, "But also, it's good bounding time for both of them. They haven't really been the same since everything happened", I admit.

"Is Steve still having a hard time with you dating Bucky too?", she asks.

I scrunch up my nose, "Sometimes. I know he doesn't want to share me but I also know that he's doing this for me so he's trying to be okay with it. And Bucky is more fine with it although I know he gets jealous at times".

"I suppose the bet you two have going on isn't helping?", she asks with a sly smirk.

"Well it was going great for me since I have Steve! But it's starting to bug me now that it's been two weeks and he's not even acting like it's bothering him".

Wanda laughs at my expression, "Have you tried tempting him?".

I glance sideways at her, "No... I guess I just assumed he'd be hungry for it and I'd win this little challenge of ours within a week".

"Well if I were you, I'd step my game up", she says giving me a knowing look.

My eyes once again trail over to the boys,"You know what, I think I have just the idea...".

"Well it might have to wait a little because I need your help planning something for Nat next week".

"Oh right it's her birthday! Well I'm good at multitasking so I'll find time for everything", I say with a devilish smile, "What are we doing for her anyways?".

"I was thinking of a nice dinner out with everyone and then cake and drinks here?", Wanda suggests.

"You don't think she'd want something a little more exciting?", I ask.

"Nat likes to have fun, but I know she'd really appreciate an intimate dinner with all of us. There's this really expensive restaurant that I found online so I called Tony and asked him if he can get us a reservation there!", she tells me.

"Ooh that sounds nice! Who have you told about it so far?", I ask.

"Everyone here of course, Barton, Rhodey and I messaged Thor but I'm not entirely sure he got it or not. But I'm really hoping he'll show up!", she says with a mischievous look.

"Are you trying to set them up?", I ask furrowing my brows.

She shrugs nonchalantly, "She's stopped sleeping around which means she's ready to move on. So why not?".

"But she isn't even interested in him?", I question confused.

She tilts her head side to side, "Well... that might not be entirely true".

"Wait what?", I ask bewildered.

She gives me a knowing smile, "Nat and I had lunch the other day and we were talking about potential guys for her. From what she admitted, there was more going on between her and Thor than she let on".
