A week passes by and within that time Wanda and Vision returned from Ohio. They told us how it went and that hopefully in a week or two Nat would be back here.
Other than that, things slowly started to go back to how they were. Steve trained with me a little each day doing small things to make sure that I didn't over do it.
Although, I think he took it easy on me because he was afraid something might happen to me again.
Bruce and Wanda with the supervision of Steve of course, started to experiment with my newfound healing abilities. Dr. Banner would cut my finger and I would try to heal myself.
For the most part, I had a continuous streak of doing it. Dr. Banner wanted to test my healing abilities with bigger wounds, but Steve was very much against that.
Normally I would stand my ground, but I still think it's too soon for him to feel comfortable with me taking a risk losing me again. And to be fair, as curious as I was to keep practicing my healing, I wasn't too fond of the injury part.
After the training I had in the lab today, Steve and I sit close together on the patio enjoying the random warm afternoon we've had this week. We sit in comfortable silence as he examines the spot on my hand that I just healed a little while ago.
"It's not going to open up Steve, it's healed", I softly tell him as I watch his eyes study the spot for any flaws or mistakes.
His eyes flick up to meet mine, "I hate you going to the lab and doing this", he tells me as he rubs the spot with his thumb.
I take hold of his hand and squeeze it, "It's just another type of training for me. But I suppose I don't have to do it anymore since we already know that I can do it".
He looks relieved once I say that and a smile soon follows, "I don't mean to be such a worrywart, I know you're much stronger than I realize".
I lean down and kiss his hand, "Don't apologize, I understand".
"Hey Rosie are you ready?", Wanda asks walking up to us.
I look over and smile, "Yeah I am!".
"I wish you were coming too", I tell Steve as I stand up.
He follows along and wraps me in his arms, "I know I'm sorry I have work to do. But go have fun with Wanda".
I wrinkle my nose still feeling disappointed that he wasn't coming into the city with us today, "I'll see you tonight Rosie, just go have fun", Steve says again when he notices be lingering.
"Fine! I'll see you tonight Stevie", I say before walking away with Wanda.
"I never thought that you would be a clingy girlfriend", she laughs.
"Oh god! I am aren't I? I've never been this way before with anyone else, it's just that with Steve...", I trail off picturing his face in my head.
"You love him", she finishes for me.
I turn to her and smile, "Yeah I really do".
We spend the day shopping and walking around the city before getting drinks with my aunt.
"So how's your training with Dr. Banner and Wanda been going?", she asks me as she takes a bite of an olive in her drink.
