Chapter 56: Caught

Bucky and I return to our separate rooms in the compound, and I use those few hours of morning to get some sleep.

When I wake I take a shower and try to think about a plan of action for all the unsettled areas in my life.

By time I get out, I know what I have to do. I get dressed and make my way to Tony's workshop where I find him talking to Steve.

"I was hoping to find you both", I say as I enter the room causing both men to look at me from across the room.

An awkward smile crosses Tony's face, "Rosie we were just-".

"Talking about me, I know", I finish for him as I join them.

He turns to exchange a look with Steve, "Well you can't blame us, you are the first hot piece of news that we've had in a while", he tries to joke.

"Well I have something new for you two to talk about. Because I have a plan", I tell them.

"We've been gathering as much entail as we can about these people since yesterday. Fury has worked with us to come up with a plan, we can discuss both of them", Steve says.

"You guys have a plan too? What is it?", I ask them.

"Well, our plan is to do nothing as of right now", Tony says.

"Wait what?", I say not expecting that answer.

"What he means is, we think it would be best not to do anything at the moment and work on gathering a defence team. Call everyone we know and prepare for whatever they have coming", Steve says clearing things up.

I nod my head, "Okay I get that... But I'm thinking that we should do the opposite".

"You want to attack", Tony states.

"I want to talk to Zemo myself and find out where Agatha is and go after her", I correct.

"We don't know that much about her, it could be dangerous going into it blindly like that", Steve says as he furrows his brows.

"You don't, but I do. I want to stop her before she can tell the others about whatever information she's gathered about me, and then we'll have one less enemy to worry about".

"If you want to face her you'll have to tell us everything you know and how we can fight against her. Strengths, weaknesses, everything", he says.

I smile at him because I can't help but love when he's in Cap mode. Something in him changes when he sees me smile, and the sparkle that I'm familiar with and love appears in his eyes.

"Of course I'll tell you everything", I say trying to calm my beating heart.

Tony takes a seat on a stool while Steve leans against a table and I face them.

"I'm not sure how long she's been with the coven but I do know that she hates Adina, because she wants to take over and despises anyone thats more powerful than her. That's one of her weaknesses, she'll do anything to get more power. She's also selfish and will always save herself and screw anyone over to do it if she has to".

"Well she sounds lovely", Tony says sarcastically.

"Oh she's a real doll you'd love her", I reply with a wry smile.

"If she hates Adina as much as you say then why would she give her information about you to her?", Steve questions.

"Because she wants me to kill her", I state.

Steve's eyes show surprise and concern after I say this and it makes me avoid his gaze. If he knew me, the me I used to be during those four years, I'm not sure he'd still love me. That's not something I thought about until this moment. Would he still love me?
