"The Smithsonian?", I ask confused as we arrive.

"Ever been here before?", he asks as he puts on a baseball cap.

Wow. A+ hiding skills there Steve.

"Of course. My aunt had brought me here a couple of times when I was little. But personally I was always a fan of the Natural History museum".

"Why was that one your favorite?", he asks as we walk into the Air and Space museum.

"I always enjoyed looking at the animals and fossils. It was one of the least boring museums I've been to, at least that was what I thought when I was a kid".

"Oh so you still think that?", he gives me a sidelong look as he teases me.

I bump my shoulder into him.

"Ha ha very funny. You know I'm not that much younger than you", I state.

"Yes you are, you're about 20 or 21 aren't you?".

"Do I really look that young? I guess I should take that as a compliment", I muse.

"You're not?", he asks as we continue to stroll through the museum.

"No. I'm around Wanda's age, I'm almost 26. And appearances wise I'm just a few years younger than you".

"Well that changes things..." I hear him mutter.

"What does it change?" I ask.

But he ignores my question and stands in front of an exhibit in the museum.

"This is what I brought you here to see", he says looking over at it.

There was a whole section dedicated to Captain America.

"Wait. I don't get it. You brought me all the way out here to look at an exhibit dedicated to you?", I ask confused.

"I'll make it clear soon enough let's just start walking through it", and with that he leads the way into the exhibit.

Is he trying to show off or something? Why does he want me to see this? Not that I don't love seeing all of this stuff about his life from before he became a super solider to now, but I feel like there's another reason we are here?

As we walk around I realize that this allows me to get to know his background more and his life in the 40's.

I stop next to one of the screens that compares his body before and after the serum.

"Hey you were 5'4 before the serum that's my height!", I comment to him.

But he isn't looking at me. A little boy standing across the room is staring at Steve recognizing him. Steve puts a finger over his lips, quietly telling the kid to keep it quiet. The boy nods silently as he remains in complete awe of Steve's presence.

A smile crosses my lips as I watch this interaction... He's cute around kids.

Steve looks over at me and guides me along by putting his hand on the small of my back.

We eventually come to a stop in front of the Howling Commandos section, where they have the uniforms and videos of the the team working together.

We both stand there quietly watching the clips on the screen play each video and discuss each of the members and their accomplishments as a team.

"What do you think about them?", Steve suddenly asks me.

"I think that you used to run with a great team back in the 40's. You guys seemed invincible together", I reply hoping that I answered correctly.
