Chapter 13: A Chance

"We should get back", I tell Steve lifting my head off his chest and looking up at him.

We lay in bed naked together, Steve's arm wrapped around my shoulder as my head rests on his chest.

He rubs my arm and looks down at me, "Yeah I suppose we should... Or we could skip the rest of the party and...", he says turning his body towards mine and kissing me deeply while sliding his other hand down my side towards my pussy.

I giggle against his lips, "I love how much of a horny boy you are". He breaks the kiss and looks at me, "Oh, am I? Well, it's a good thing that I am because I can tell that you have a high sex drive, so you'll need a horny boy like me to keep up with you", he says moving his hand up from my core and tickling my side.

I laugh and squirm trying to get away from his hand. He laughs with me as he continues. And that's when it happens.

My eyes flash gold and I'm hit with another premonition.

"Is it time Baron?", a man in a dark uniform asks.

"Just about comrade. I will need you all to occupy the Wakandan army at the front barrier long enough for me to get Barnes", he says turning around and waving the winter soldier book in his hand.

He walks over and picks up a wine glass drinking deeply. "Such an exquisite wine", he muses. "It perfectly balances on the tongue before leaving the drinker with a lingering taste of rich wild strawberry. Surprising end... yet satisfying.".

The Baron turns back to the man, "That is exactly how I will feel tomorrow night. The sweet taste of revenge as I leave a gaping hole in the heart of the avengers. Letting them fall apart around it".

The other man hesitantly speaks, "There is some concern that we will not be able to break through the barrier. We have the numbers but it will not matter if we cannot get through".

"You have no need to worry about that... it is handled. All I want you to do now is prepare for the attack in the morning. This must work!", he raises his voice before turning away and quietly muttering, "or it would have all been for nothing...".

I gasp coming out of the vision. When my eyes readjust Steve is still holding me but looking at me with concern in his eyes as he knows what happened.

I look at him, memorizing his facial features in this perfect moment before I have to shatter it with reality.

"Oh Stevie. We were all so mistaken to think that we could relax. There's going to be an attack on Wakanda in the morning! They're coming for Barnes", I heavily tell him.

Fear grips my chest at the thought that we could be too late now that we wasted so much time.

Steve stares at me for a split second before quickly starting to get up and grab his clothes. I join him in the hurry not bothering to put my dress back on but opting for jeans and a t-shirt.

"Tell me everything you saw", he says as he changes. I oblige and tell him everything. When I'm finished he suddenly turns from Steve Rogers into Captain America.

"I want you to go back to the party and get everyone together fast. I'm going to head to the conference room and make a couple of calls. Bring everyone in asap!", he says as we hurry down the hallway before going our separate ways.

I start to run to where the party is at, bursting through the doors once I get there. I look around quickly for everyone.

A few of them are together and some of the others are spread out. I see Tony across the room talking to a group of people, so I hurry over to where he is.
