Chapter 10: Language

I fall silent after I finish telling him what I saw in my premonition.

He takes a deep breath before saying, "And that's all you saw? Nothing else or anything more specific?".

"I would have told you if I had. I know I'm being vague but that's all I've received for now. But I'm going to try to get more", I say trying to sound hopeful.

I hate how vague my visions can be. Sometimes it really lays it all out there and other times it's tidbits.

"You touch things right?", he asks me, "to get more visions you can touch things and force them to come".

I nod my head, "Yes I can do that sometimes. As of right now I still don't fully understand when to turn it on and off".

Steve sets his jaw as he thinks, "I need to make a couple phone calls".

He stands up and walks over to where his phone is. I follow and place my hand on his shoulder.

"Steve. I know how important Bucky is to you, so just know that I will try everything I can to receive more information", I tell him trying to give him some comfort that he's not alone in this.

He turns to me and pulls me into a deep kiss.

"I know you will Rosie".

After I get cleaned up from my shower, I look at my phone and realize that I have a couple of messages and calls from Steve, and a few from Tony.

I'm about to respond when I hear a knock on my door.

"Oh, good your dressed. Tony and Steve sent me to get you since you weren't answering their messages. They want to talk in one of the conference rooms", Nat says as she walks in not waiting for me to open the door.

"Did they tell you what I saw?", I ask her as we start walking out the door.

"They did. But what I want to know is why you didn't tell me about you and Steve?", she asks raising an eyebrow at me.

I blush at her words. Shit. She really is good! How much does she know? I don't want to say too much and make Steve uncomfortable.

"I- uh... how much do you know?", I decide to ask.

"I know that you two clearly like each other. Yours was obvious right away and I wasn't sure about Cap until today when Thor showed up. That certainly confirmed it. But what I don't know is what has happened between you two since then? And don't try to lie because you are terrible at that".

"Well, once I went to Steve's room to tell him about the vision I had, we sort of got into an argument about Thor and such and then he confessed that he liked me and we kissed...", I say unable to control my smile.

"Good boy Rogers", Nat says nodding her head in agreement, "He's always a slow mover when it comes to girls but clearly that's not the case this time. You must really be something special", she tells me.

When she says that I instantly think about Peggy. When Steve came out of the ice, I did some research on him through Shield and I read all about his life in the 40s. I knew how much she meant to him, and how much she still clearly means to him.

How could I take that place?

I decide not to answer her since we had reached the conference room. When I walk in Tony and Steve stop talking when they notice our arrival.

"Hey kid, Cap's just been telling me about what you saw. Any chance you've received any more information from then to now?", he asks me right away.

"Unfortunately not, maybe if I had something of Bucky's I might be able to?'.
