Hello all! I have always loved when authors put fun facts about the book at the end, so, here is Lacuan's.
1. I got the names Esme and Bella from Twilight. It's one of my brother favrite sagas of all time, and we grew up watching it together.
2. At first, I was going to make every chapter a number in a different language, but I wanted it to be more unique than that.
3. Game Of Thrones is a family favorite. I'm very excited for all of the sequels coming out.
4. Stefan and Damon are named after the Salvatore brothers in TVD. Love that show so much, it's kind of ridiculous.
4. I thought I was going to finish writing this book in one month because at the start I was writing five chapters a week, but it has actually taken me two and a half years.
5. The book was originally going to be a standalone, but I thought, "How much more fun would it be to make it a series?" Stay tuned.
6. My mom encouraged me to write Lacuna, and she helped me edit. Love you mom, <3.
7. I'd say about ninety-eight percent of things that happened to the characters or what they did, I happened to me or I did. In a way, they are all different variants of me.
8. I love a plot twist, and I went back and forth a lot about if I should kill off Esme or Silas. I decided neither. You're welcome.
9. My family and I have always loved the first five movies of the Fast and Furious saga, so it only made sense to make them underground street racers.
10. I found out about a beautiful island called Sardinia a few years ago, and I have since been obsessed. It's high up on the list of places I want to visit.
