Staying In The Country

[Harley's POV]
Staying here is really nice. It's really bringing everyone together, helping provide resources for food and other stuff. But I still can't shake the feeling of what has happened to New York.

I miss it so much, it's like one fourth of me is missing. The other three being my family, friends, and Raph. I wonder how everyone else is holding up internally. Or if they are depressed just as much as me.

I'm sure they really miss Sensei. I do, too. He's like a second father to me. I wonder what Dan.. or whoever he is working with, did to him. I sigh and get out of bed.

I have to think positive thoughts. Although it's hard when your away from home, and you don't know where half you family is. I know Casey is here, but he's in a coma.

I feel like the whole world is crashing down upon me. What did I do to deserve this? I don't know.. But I'm still thankful for what I have.

I push the covers off me, and stretch. Squeeze my eyes shut for a few seconds, trying to wake myself up. I grab the door knob and open the door slowly. I walk into the living room and gasp.

"I don't know what happened, man! I don't remember anything!" Casey explains. I run towards him and hug him. "Casey!" I squeal. "Hey, sis." He smiles.

"So... You really don't know what happened?" I ask him, releasing the hug. (*Cough* Mrs. Gravitt *Cough*) "Not at all. It's just a blur." He says. I nod. "Do you remember Dan?" I ask him.

"Yeah, your old boyfriend, right?" He asks. I nod. "He brainwashed you. But he had an army... or something to back him up." Leo jumps in. "Yeah, that total inconsiderate jerk.." Raph mumbles. I give him a quick sarcastic look then turn back around.

"I have an idea of who the army could be." I interrupt. "Who?" Casey asks. "Well, we killed Shredder. You think he took his place?" I suggest. "Eh, no way. Did you see how easily we took him down?" Donnie asks.

"Well not the first time..." I say. "But the first time he could've had back up." Mikey implies. I nod. "It's definitely possible we could've forgotten." Donnie says. I nod. "Yeah, and how would he just be weaker the second time we fought him?" Leo asks.

We all shrug. "Let's say he is taking Shredder's place. How would he be able to convince all of those minions of his?" Casey asks. "They were in desperate need of a leader." I say.

"But not as desperate of taking just anyone." Raph says. "Yeah, wouldn't they choose a second in command like Rhazar or someone?" Mikey questions us.

"Yeah, definitely. But this just doesn't make any sence-" Leo get's interrupted by Donnie. "Brain manipulation!" He blurts. "What?" I ask. "He brainwashed Casey, right? Well, he could've done the same with the foot clan!" He says.

"Hey, you gotta point.." Casey says. "But he can't just brainwash all of the foot clan, AND New York!" Mikey says. I nod. "No, but he could brainwash that second in command. Then, everyone would listen to Rhazar and believe him since he's their leader." Donnie says.

"Yeah, and then once he was in power of the foot clan, I bet they got in touch with the Kraang some how. Then the Kraang did something to New York." Leo says. We all agree by nodding.

"Yeah, the Kraang have been wanting to take over earth for quite a long time, now." Casey says."Makes sense."
Mikey inputs. "How are we gonna take 'em down though?" Raph asks.

"We should train. Train a lot." I say.
