Zack"s POV
I was driving my car going to the nearest store to buy something, when I saw a familiar woman, my brow furrowed as I stared at her, her appearance has changed a lot from being tall to a perfect body shape, even her hair has changed as it become shorter and wavy far from her previous long and straight hair, but I still recognize her.
The woman I wanted to take care of, and promised that even if staying would be the most painful and hardest thing in the whole world, I would not leave her side. Then suddenly one day I didn't see her again, I didn't hear from her anymore, the only thing she left me was a letter, saying that we won't see each other again.
I'm mad at her because she didn't even say goodbye properly, she didn't talk to me, she didn't clarify whatever was between the two of us.
Napakadaya, mas matatanggap ko pa kung sinabi niyang layuan ko na lang siya, hindi siguro ganon kasakit kung hinayaan niya man lang akong yakapin siya bago siya tuluyang umalis. I hate her for not thinking of what I would feel when she left. Siguro ay wala lang din talaga ako sa kanya, kaya hindi niya na inisip ang mararamdaman ko.
Habang pinagmamasdan ko siya ay bigla na lang bumuhos ang malakas ng ulan, agad akong nag park at bumaba sa sasakyan dala ang payong, habang naglalakad patungo sa dereksyon niya ay napansin ko ang malagkit na tingin ng isang lalaki malapit sa kanya, napako rito ang paningin ko, mukhang hindi naman niya ito kilala at nakakaramdam ako ng hindi maganda.
When I turned my gaze to the woman again, she suddenly fell down and lost consciousness, the man who had the sticky look on the woman earlier came to help her, but even though the woman was unconscious, it still seemed strange that his gaze was focused on the woman's thigh.
Agad akong tumakbo patungo sa babae at walang habas na inalis ang kamay ng lalaki rito, masama naman ako nitong tinignan, at doon ko lubos na naintindihan ang pakay niya.
"Hey! Anong gagawin mo sa kanya, let me handle this, I'll take her to the hospital." said the man while looking at me darkly as if I was stealing what belonged to him.
"Hospital really?" I smirked at him, I immediately turned to the woman to see her condition while she was unconscious. Her whole body was hot and she has a high fever, she is also pale and shivering because of the cold.
Muli namang sinubukan ng lalaki kanina na agawin ang babae mula sa mga kamay ko, kaya't mas lalong nag-init ang ulo ko, halo-halo ang kaba, galit, inis at pag-aalala na nararamdaman ko ngayon dahil sa nangyayari.
"Fuck! Let go of my wife!" I stared at the man darkly because of anger, and only then did I notice that he was stunned by what he heard, maging ako ay bahagyang nagulat sa sinabi ko ngunit hindi ko ito ipinahalata.
"Don't fucking touch her! Anas ko pa nang muli niya itong hawakan, pinagkrus naman ng lalaki ang kanyang braso nang maalis ko ito at nilabanan ang mga tingin na ibinabato ko sa kanya.
"You're lying." Baling nito, dahilan upang mas mag-init ang ulo ko, kailangan ko ng agapan ang mataas na lagnat ng babae at hindi nakakatulong ang panghaharang nito sa'kin.
"Whether I'm lying or not, I have the right to take her along" My jaw tensed as I looked at him darkly.
"For what reason?" Pag-uusisa pa nito habang ako ay nawawalan na ng pasensya sa pakikipag-usap sa kanya, I was about to leave and turn my back away from him when he grabbed my shoulder again to stop me.
I closed my eyes to calm myself, before giving him another dark gaze. "I'm Dr. Santiago, from Casa Fernandez Medical Hospital, and if something bad happens to my patient. I'll search the whole world to make you pay for this, but even your last breath cannot pay for her life." That was the last thing I said before turning my back. I would gladly want him to take that not as an explanation, but a threat.
