"Iris, can't sleep..."

Iris looked down at Loki who's tugging her simple dark blue gown.

She smiled softly, sitting down just beside Loki's small body who's currently laying on his back, ready to sleep. "Are you still thinking about what happened with Her Imperial Majesty earlier?"

"Bakit parang alam mo lahat?" He puffed his cheeks, pouting his lips.

She stared at him before a laugh escaped her mouth. "I don't know what you mean by that, my prince."

She watched him pout his lips more, annoyance can be clearly seen in his purple jewel-like eyes.

"Would you like me to sing you a lullaby?"

"Yes!" He eagerly answered.

Iris has a voice of an angel. Nalaman niya ito when he's still a baby. Hindi siya makatulog noon so Iris decided to sing him a lullaby.

What shocked him is that alam niya ang lullaby na mahilig kantahin ni Iris sa kaniya ever since he's a baby. Every time he asks Iris to lull him to sleep, 'yon ang kantang kinakanta sa kaniya ni Iris pero hindi siya nagsasawa. Maybe because of his nanny's voice? He don't know but he really felt relaxed kapag naririnig niya ang kantang iyon.

Iris cleared her throat kaya mabilis na pumikit si Loki para maghanda nang matulog.

"Sana'y 'di magmaliw ang dati kong araw. Nang munti pang bata sa piling ni nanay. Nais kong maulit ang awit ni inang mahal. Awit ng pag-ibig habang ako'y nasa duyan." She sang.

Loki heard her repeat it as he slowly fell to sleep.

Nang mapansin ni Iris na nakatulog na siya ay wala sa sarili siyang napatitig sa mukha ng bata. Her gaze then landed on the big purple gem design sa kwintas nito. It shone a bit nang tumama ang liwanag dito. She carefully and lightly caressed it with her index and middle finger bago inayos ang pagkakakumot kay Loki.

She soon stood up, walking near the door before closing the lights. She held the doorknob as she stepped out of the Youngest Imperial Prince's room, a soft gaze on her eyes as she watched him sleep.

"Sleep well, Your Highness."

"And it's time for history! Yehey!" Eunice brightly cheered.

Loki beamed but inside, he's damn tired from all the studying. He regretted agreeing on Eunice becoming his tutor.

A week ago, after they found out about him being a genius, Sigyn asked him if he wanted to start his education early. Sa mundo kasing ito, kids start their education at 8 years old but Hades started it when he's 3, Hera and Ares both started when they were 4.

The reason why he immediately agreed to study is to make his mother proud. Childish? Kinda. He felt childish because of this reason.

Nang marinig ito ni Eunice, she volunteered to be his tutor which Sigyn clearly opposed to pero wala nang nagawa dahil sumang-ayon na si Loki sa kaniya. Now he knows why his mother strongly disapproved of Eunice teaching him.

It's because Eunice is too energetic na tuloy-tuloy ang pag-aaral niya. In one week, they managed to finish 15 books of algebra, 6 book of arithmetic, 34 books of calculus, 27 books of geometry, 41 books of politics, 4 books of international affairs, 6 books of cultures and languages, 9 books of ethics, 19 books of religions and beliefs, and 58 books of history-related.

Ito na ang pang-220 niyang libro na aaralin. Meron pa ata siyang aaralin na libro about laws. Naging madali naman ang mga ito kahit papaano thanks to his knowledge in his past life and also Eunice's great teaching.

"This time, we'll learn about the history of the Aileth Empire."

That caught Loki's attention which didn't leave unnoticed by Eunice.

Since Loki read the book as Edward, the story very much revolves around the main lead's love story kaya curious siya sa history ng kanilang emperyo. He even went to the library just to read some topics about it.

"Aileth Empire was the very first empire that was established a long time ago. Our world was swallowed by demons before. Humans cowered in fear under the demons' mercy." She started. "Humans are basically their food. There are some humans who just decided to abandon being human and let the demons turn them as one instead."

Loki can't blame those humans though. They were scared.

"That's when our very first Emperor, Aileth Morana di Yukine, developed a magic technique that can kill demons." Eunice beamed.

Loki can't help but to smile dahil parang nagkwekwento lang siya. This is Eunice's technique kung bakit madaling naaaral ni Loki ang sandamakmak na libro na sobrang kapal pa.

"That's the start of how the magical knights were established, an organization of knights who kill demons with the combination of magic and swordsmanship. He then soon established the Aileth Empire para may safe place ang mga tao. It'll be easier for the magical knights to protect humans kapag nasa iisang place sila. Those who heard of this soon established the same thing dahil hindi naman sila makapunta sa ating empire kasi malayo ang pinanggalingan nila. Baka mauna pa silang mamatay bago makarating dito."

Natawa si Loki. He doesn't want to laugh but he can't help it. The way Eunice tells this to him is really funny. Maging si Eunice ay natawa na lamang nang mahina.

"Kaya 'yon, nagkaroon na rin ng mga empires, kingdoms, countries, towns, tribes at iba pa. Dahil doon ay kumunti ang mga demons na naninirahan sa mundo natin. They all went into hiding in fear. Most of the magical knights then went to the south continent dahil doon ang pinaka-maraming demons. They soon stayed there after they were done with their job to kill all demons. That's the reason why the south continent is good at swordsmanship, because they are the descendants of the magical knights. That's how the first world war ended."

"How many wars are there in total po?" He asked while taking notes.

Eunice looked up, thinking. "One... Two... Three!" She exclaimed. "Three wars in total." She nodded her head.

"The first is war against demons. The second is war for power. That was the time of our second Emperor. Hunger for power made some people to unite hands and try to overthrow the current rulers of each empire's kaya nagsimula ang second world war. It was soon stopped and ended by the First Mage of the Magic Tower."

"Then, how about the third po?" He curiously asked.

"The third world war started because of abuse of power. People entered war to overthrow those who take advantage of the power they hold." Eunice, then, smirked, making Loki more curious. "And we'll be learning this one thoroughly because..."

"This is the era of the 59th ruler of the Aileth Empire, Aileth Morana di Silviandesia."
