"Hindi pa rin po ba gising si Mama?"

Napalingon si Iris kay Loki na tahimik na kumakain ng paborito niyang home-made chocolates.

Tumigil si Iris sa pag-aayos ng kama ni Loki bago siya hinarap. "Would you like to visit Her Imperial Majesty again, my prince?"

It's been three days since the accident in the lake happened. Three days since Sigyn caught a fever. Three days since she was last awake. Hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa rin siya gising kaya grabe ang pag-aalala ng mga anak niya, especially Loki who feels guilty for being stupid. Dahil sa kaniya, his mom became sick. If it wasn't for her saving him, sana hindi siya tulog hanggang ngayon.

Loki sighed, hindi mapigilang hindi isipin na gusto ng nanay niyang maging si Sleeping Beauty. Maghahanap na ba siya ng prince charming na gigising sa kaniya? He scoffed at the thought. He's just trying to cheer himself up with a terrible humor.

"She'll think I'm going to be clingy if I always visit her." He mumbled.

Natawa nang mahina si Iris. "I'm sure she'll like it if you're clingy, Your Imperial Highness." Pagpapagaan nito ng loob niya. "And, if you're thinking it's your fault, please don't. Her Majesty saved you because she wanted to. Wala kang kasalanan do'n."

Natigilan siya sa narinig. As expected of Iris, she knows what he's thinking. Mom instinct, maybe?

"I'm not thinking that po." He denied.

Tinitigan siya ni Iris kaya napalunok sa nerbyos si Loki. Kalaunay bumalik na sa ginagawa si Iris that made him breathe normally again. Iris gaze is scary for him. Parang sa mga titig niya ay alam na niya kung anong tumatakbo sa isipan niya. It's amazing yet scary at the same time.

Napabuntong hininga siya, drinking tea from his teacup bago niya iyon nilapag sa sahig. He's currently having a picnic inside his room because of how cold it is outside. Because of how frail his body is, he can't go outside. Mabilis pa naman siyang magkasakit.

Tahimik lang siyang nagme-merienda nang may kumatok sa pinto.

"Loki?"

Loki perked up after hearing his eldest brother's voice ngunit mabilis siyang tumikhim nang mapansin na super excited siya just from hearing his brother's voice. He really grew fond of them. Na-attach na nga talaga siya. This is bad.

The door opened, revealing Hades who's currently wearing informal clothes. This is the first time Loki saw him wearing such clothes because he always wears formal ones. Despite that, Hades still looks good with it.

Well, he isn't shocked because he got his genes from their mother. The Imperial Family is really attractive, no one can top their looks, not even the female lead of the original novel.

Iris bowed, greeting the Crown Prince who only nodded his head, making his way towards his youngest brother.

"Are you busy?" He sat down in front of Loki.

"I'm having my picnic." Loki smiled softly.

"Then, can I join?"

Loki blinked, watching his brother pop a cookie in his mouth. He already invited himself, how can he answer now?

He forced a chuckle, looking away, hindi alam ang sasabihin.

They peacefully ate in silence. Dinagdagan pa ni Iris ang snacks nila bago sila iniwan para makapag-bonding ang magkapatid, at dahil tapos na rin siya sa ginagawa sa kwarto ni Loki. Loki enjoyed it, if he's being honest.

Napatitig sa kaniya si Hades, pleased that he managed to brighten his youngest sibling's mood. He noticed that Loki's been down ever since the accident with their mother so he's trying his best to cheer him up by being with him. Hindi niya alam kung gagana iyon but seeing Loki right now, it is indeed working.
