"The only palace that was built during Mother's reign."

Hades stared at the big beautiful palace that looks really heavenly because of its color. A mixture of white, blue and gold. Muntik nang magmukhang tahanan ng mga anghel dahil sa atmosperang nakapalibot dito.

His attention, then, landed on the pink hibiscus flowers na nakapalibot sa palasyo.

His eyebrows rose. "The Antara Empire's flower." He said. "This must be the palace my father lived in when he was still alive."

"Yes, Your Imperial Highness." Callirhoe smiled softly. "Her Majesty built this palace for His Grace himself."

"So, that's what the clue means."

He finally understood as he reread the written clue on the paper he's holding, given by his mother earlier.

Peaceful morning, in the light of day,
Comes in intruders, attacking in a vicious way,

Arrows are shot to the pegasus, which ends with gloom.

"Hibiscus and pegasus are both in the clues." Hades said. "And these two are part of the Antara Empire's Imperial Family symbol. Mother's definitely talking about Father. So her gift has something to do with him."

"Would you like to go inside, Your Imperial Highness?" Tanong ni Callirhoe.

"Yes, please." Hades immediately answered.

Ito na lang ang pagkakataon niya upang mas makilala ang ama, at hindi niya ito palalagpasin.

As the door of the palace was opened by Callirhoe, dali-daling pumasok si Hades at namangha sa istraktura ng palasyo. It was done so beautifully. Mahahalata ang effort at carefulness sa pagkakagawa ng palasyong ito.

"Mother said she kidnapped Father from his homeland." He started, slowly strolling as he admired and observed the palace. "But it seems like he was treated kindly here bago siya maging miyembro ng harem ng aking ina."

He looked at Callirhoe.

If he wanted to know more about his father, the one person he has to ask aside from his mother is his personal nanny herself, Callirhoe.

"The Empress treated him with so much care despite being a hostage." Sang-ayon niya. "Before she kidnapped His Grace, this palace was already built because of Her Imperial Majesty's order. She made sure that this palace has the same structure sa palasyo ng Antara Empire to make him comfortable once he started to live here."

"So, it's really her plan to kidnap him." He hummed.

"The whole Antara Empire was in chaos because of that. Sobra ang pag-aalala namin para sa aming prinsipe. But, imagine how shocked I am when I found out that he's being treated with so much kindness and respect here more than in our empire." Callirhoe chuckled at the memory.

"I hated the Empress that time. For taking your father away. But now... I'm really grateful she did. Her Imperial Majesty saved him."

"What was Father like when he was in Antara?" Tanong ni Hades.

Callirhoe looked up, remembering the memory she has with Hades' father.

"He's as cold as ice. Like he wasn't even alive. Like a puppet that will only move once the strings are tugged." She smiled. "But when he's with Her Majesty, he looks so relaxed. Na para bang nawala yung mabigat niyang dala-dala simula pa nung bata siya. He looks like he's at peace."

"Mother once said to me that Father is her peace." Hades blinked.

"They were each other's peace, Your Highness." Tango ni Callirhoe. "They both know each other's weaknesses. They know their vulnerable sides. Pahinga nila ang isa't isa."
