"I can't believe Ate Lilith is involved in this."

Sigyn sighed as Eunice said those words for the nth time since yesterday. Naririndi na siyang naririnig iyon ngunit hindi na lamang siya nagsalita pa dahil may mga tatapusin pa siyang dokumento.

Loki, her youngest son, finally awakens from his one week sleep. The nannies and her other children are tending to him as both Eunice and Sigyn are too busy to visit him for a while.

"How's the prisoners?" Sigyn asked.

"They still haven't said a word despite their mentality not being stable." Eunice answered. "Ate... What if napatay mo na pala yung nagpoison kay Loki? I mean... Mentally unstable na yung dalawa dahil sa sobrang torture na ginawa ni Hera but they still haven't said a word. Maybe because wala talaga silang alam tungkol do'n."

"Are you sure they're really mentally unstable?" Sigyn raised her eyebrows.

"Ate, walang may kayang humandle sa torture ng anak mo." Eunice stared at her sister in disbelief.

Sigyn hummed. "Make sure to torture them 10x harder than what Hera's been doing."

"Ate?!" Gulat na bulalas ni Eunice. "Ano ka ba! What if inosente pala yung dalawang 'yon?"

"And what if one of them is the real suspect? Or worse, was it actually both of them?" Sigyn fired back. "We can't drop any possibilities, Eurenacacia."

There wasn't any ounce of pity nor kindness in the Empress' face.

"I am not entitled as the tyrant for nothing."

"You're really living up to that title of yours." Eunice sighed, and couldn't understand the mindset of her sister.

"Just go." Sigyn's tired from all of her sister's rambling since yesterday.

A knock grabbed their attention as they heard Fred's voice from the other side of the door, asking permission to enter which Sigyn granted.

The door opened and Fred came in with Duke Ezackart, closing the door behind them.

"Good day, Your Grace, Your Imperial Majesty. How are you feeling?" Duke Ezackart bowed.

"I'm doing well." Sigyn answered simply. "Why the sudden visit?"

As far as she remembers, may pinapagawa ito sa kanila. They're investigating the whole palace ground for any clues.

"We found a suspicious paper in the library, Your Majesty." Fred said, placing the said brown paper on Sigyn's desk. "Nahanap namin 'yan kung nasaan nahanap ni Loki ang librong nabasa niya about your father."

Gulat na nilingon ni Eunice at Sigyn si Fred dahil sa sinabi nito while Duke Ezackart looks so confused.

Both the Imperial Sisters checked the brown paper and a map was drawn into it.

"Where is this place?" Tanong ni Sigyn.

"It's the ruined city of Malwis, Your Majesty. It's in the west." Sagot ni Eunice after she examined the map. "It's a really big city. It's known as the best tourist spot of the Aileth Empire before it was destroyed by a typhoon. Sa pagkakaalam ko, diyan din nakatayo ang palasyo ng kapatid ng First Emperor natin."

Sigyn stared at it for a while before making up her mind. "Ravir, ready all the Imperial Knights. Eurenacacia, ready the healers. Fred, call my children, except for my youngest."

Kumunot ang noo ni Eunice sa narinig.

"What are you planning to do, Your Majesty?" Tanong niya, eyes squinting at her sister who directly stared back at her with so much seriousness in her purple jewel-like eyes.
