"My daughter went to change her shoes."

Duke Lerwis' forehead creased as he answered the newly arrived man who was asking about his beloved daughter.

"What about her?"

"She was escorted by an Imperial Knight, right? Her room's in the Rai hallway, the one with a balcony which can see the whole garden behind the palace." Sherlock easily described as if he knew everything, which he does.

Mycroft sighed. "And?"

"I talked to that Imperial Knight. Not good-looking but tall and stuff. He said he escorted her safely inside her room. He was waiting for her to get out so he could escort her back here. I asked him if she's still inside since, you know, I know she's not. We barged in when she did not answer, and voila." He shrugged his shoulders with a deadpan expression. "She is not there."

"My daughter has magic. She can protect herself." Tila sa sarili sinasabi ng Duke Lerwis iyon, pinapanatag ang sarili kahit na kinakabahan na talaga siya.

Sherlock judged him through his eyes.

"Seriously? How sure are you that she can protect herself just because of her magic? What about those who are more powerful than her, huh?"

"Why are you sneaking here for my husband in the first place?" The Countess intervened.

"A kid was kidnapped in my neighborhood. A girl around Sif's age. I know you have information, Art. The suspect is quite tricky so I was about to ask for your help."

"That man you call father is much more dangerous than a psychopath, Your Imperial Majesty." He mocked. "He ruins lives."

"Sherly, that's enough. Marami tayo rito ngayon. It's not just us." The Count immediately went to him, trying to calm him down.

Loki looked at his nanny, and saw how Iris looked so worried, peeking from Romeo's back.
