"Her Imperial Majesty, the Empress, has arrived."

Loki's eyes twinkled at the announcement he heard. Kaagad niyang sinalubong ng yakap ang ina na kapapasok lang sa kaniyang sariling palasyo.

Sigyn looked down on him, patting the top of his head. "Do you miss me that much?"

Loki beamed at her. "Yep! I always miss you, Mama!"

"I got your gift."

Natigilan si Loki sa narinig, finally remembering his panic bago siya naghandang matulog kagabi.

"It was lovely. Thank you."

Napakurap si Loki. "O-oh... I'm glad you liked it, Mama. Then, shall we head to the garden?"

"Is Iris there?" Sigyn asked as she eyed the two maids attending to Loki. "It's not her who's attending to you today."

Tumaas ang kilay niya kaya napalunok sa takot ang dalawa na yumuko sa kanilang Empress bilang pagbati.

"Oh! Mama, this is Monet. And this is Janet." Pagpapakilala ni Loki. "Hindi sila magka-ano-ano."

"I see..."

Nakahinga na nang maluwag ang dalawa when Sigyn finally looked away from them, sinundan ang bunsong anak na hinihila na siya papuntang garden.

Iris, who's preparing their snacks for their tea time, looked at them when she felt their presence.

"You've finally arrived, Your Imperial Majesty." Bati niya after she ushered the other maids na katulong niya sa pag-aayos to step back.

"I am late, I apologize."

Sigyn guided her youngest child na makaupo sa upuan nito bago siya naupo sa sarili niyang pwesto.

"Hera wouldn't let me leave so I swapped places with Eunice to entertain her curiosity in magic."

Since she left her room to start her day as the Empress, she was jailed inside her office by Hades dahil sa dami ng kailangan niyang basahin na dokumento. Despite doing an all-nighter, hindi pa rin matapos-tapos ang gagawin niya sa sobrang dami nito.

Ares, then, barged in inside her office and asked her to spar with him. Well, he did not actually asked her, he threatened her to spar with him.

Hades, hearing it, scolded him for 10 minutes before giving Sigyn the permission to leave to spar with Ares. Para raw kahit papaano ay magkaroon siya ng exercise at hindi lang siya nakaupo sa loob ng opisina niya magdamag.

Hera found out about it so she stole Sigyn from Ares using a transportation magic. Sigyn spent her time teaching Hera magic. And because of how excited Hera is because she's finally being taught magic by her own mother, she refused to let Sigyn go.

Sigyn's time with Loki has been scheduled since last week kung kaya't she swapped places with Eunice using her magic para makatakas kay Hera. That's how she managed to arrive here safely without dealing with Hera's outburst and tantrums.

"It must have been tough." Iris commented as she noticed Sigyn's tired eyes.

"You must have been so busy, Mama." Loki's eyes were soft as he stared at his mother. "Thank you for giving me some of your time."

"You shouldn't thank me. Giving you my time is just the bare minimum."

Besides, Sigyn also wanted to have peace for a while after being with Ares and Hera.

Iris finally placed tea cups in front of the mother-son pair. She stepped away, after that, para magkaroon ng privacy ang mag-ina.
