Napataas ang kilay ni Sigyn kay Duke Ezackart when the said noble greeted her as she and her family entered the palace grounds.

Naunang nakabalik sila Duke Ezackart dahil nang humiwalay sila kila Sigyn, the route they took is the route to go back to the palace grounds kaya hindi na nagulat pa sila Sigyn nang ito ang bumungad sa kanila.

"They really attacked the palace..." Eunice mumbled as she watched the Imperial Knights na ligpitin ang mga labi nang nagtangkang pumasok sa kanilang teritoryo.

"Of course, Tita. It was a trap, after all." Wika ni Hades na para bang iyon ang pinaka-obvious.

"It's a trap?" Kunot noong tanong ni Hera, hindi alam ang nangyayari. "Huh? What trap?"

Ares patted Hera's head. "Don't even bother thinking. Baka mas masira pa isip mo. You wouldn't understand anyway so just keep your mouth shut, yeah?"

Hera glared at her older brother. "Are you calling me bobo?!"

"Hindi ba?" Naguguluhang sambit ni Ares. "Sabagay, mahirap tanggapin ang katotohanan."

"You're so annoying, Kuya! Ugly! Pangit! Abno!"

"Bansot ka naman."

"Shut up!"

Sigyn squatted down as she examines the dead body near her habang nag-aaway na naman ang ikalawa at ikatlo niyang mga anak.

Eunice helped in collecting the dead bodies using her magic while Hades took over Duke Ezackart's job to lead the Imperial Knights dahil naiwan si Duke Ezackart sa tabi ni Sigyn.

"This isn't Iris' doing." Kunot noong sabi ni Sigyn when she noticed the hole in the dead man's forehead. Lumingon siya sa iba pang mga labi at napansin niyang nasa noo rin ang dahilan kung bakit sila namatay.

"Who did this?"

The Empress knew that it wasn't Iris despite the nanny being the only one who can use a gun in the palace grounds. The reason for this is because Iris learned how to use a gun in a short period of time kaya mas gamay niya ang puso bilang target because the chest is a much bigger target than the forehead, hence it's easier to hit.

Inilibot ni Duke Ezackart ang tingin niya sa paligid at napansin niyang lahat ng mga katawan na malapit sa entrance kung nasaan sila ngayon ay nasa noo ang tama ng bala sa kanila.

"Are you telling me that he used a mere handgun to kill these assassins kahit na sobrang layo niya?"

"It's up to you if you will believe it or not." Callirhoe shrugged. "But let me just remind you who his father is. That man's blood is in the Third Imperial Prince's veins. Hindi niya kailangan gumamit ng long range weapons o ng scope para maabot ang target niya."
