It's been two weeks since their outing to the park. Vijay has to admit, the walk with Kavitha had changed something between them. May be a start of a friendship or something more than that which he didnot want to know.
He remembered their talk even now. And in these two weeks, he had not seen Mazhi or his family members much. He was busy with his case. He was missing something in the drug trafficking case and he was not able to pin point that. He felt like it was very near to him yet far away from his grasp. Going home and seeing Mazhi and others (Kavitha included) distracted him. So he engrossed himself in his work to avoid the distractions and to finish the case. But was he successful?

'NO'

Many times his mind and heart wandered to the memories of Kavitha and Mazhi. It was hard for him to concentrate in his case.

Thinking of the case, his thoughts went to the meeting he had with Sekar and Mahesh. He observed that they both were very cautious and spoke whatever they had pre planned. And they clearly avoided any questions regarding their family. These people were very secretive. Vijay had not known that Lekha had a third son, untill Sekar and Mahesh approached Sashi. To complicate the case more, they had no photo of that woman. Though he asked for a photo, he was not sure to get it.

'How could they expect me to find a woman with no face', he thought to himself and sighed.

Only clue they gave:- She was pregrant and the papers are in a red folder.

'Uggghhh, how could I find a woman who is pregrant with a red folder', Vijay sighed and rubbed his face with his hands.

He noted that Sekar's intention was to get the papers and not the girl. And that's when he got a call from his uncle which provided a much needed break through in the case.

Chella noted that Kavitha smiled more in these two weeks. She was happy and that's what all she needed. And she noted Vijay's bright face whenever he came. It's not like he came home everyday, but whenever he came home, his face was adorned with a smile and his eyes searched for a certain girl. She also noted that the girl too desperately searched for Vijay, whenever he was not present in the home.
(Ha..dont make your expectations high)

It's Mazhi.

A little life changed a dull life of Vijay into a happy one atleast to some extent. Chella has always considered Vijay as her son. She had seen every phase of his life starting from his birth. The mischievous eyes changed into a lifeless one after that tragic incident. She don't want to remember that fateful day. But with the similar events happening in the house, she can't help but to remember that day.

Kavitha immediately noticed a silent Chella ma beside while they both were cooking which was very unusual. When she turned to look at her, she noticed the glossy eyes and the frown lines in Chella's forehead.

"Chella ma, What happened?" Kavitha asked with a worried tone and her voice brought Chella out of her trance.

"Oh..nothing da. Just thinking of some old days", Chella sighed and continued to help Kavitha.

Clueless, Kavitha too started to stir the pan. She was preparing Halwa. Her hometown is famous for Halwa. And her cravings for halwa made her to make it. She knew that her halwa can not reach near the taste of her hometown halwa yet just to reduce her carvings she made a attempt. Also recently she had got an information that someone from the household loves halwa as much as her. She stir the pan hoping to get it done well, without knowing the future.
