Kavitha continued to stare at the white wall in her hospital room. The past month was hard on her. It's nearly two months, her husband left her behind in this cruel world. Earlier that day doctor insisted her to take rest without any stress for the well being of her baby. She will risk anything for the little life growing inside her because he/she will be the last and living memory of her husband.

Her thoughts drifted towards Vijay and his household. Though Vijay's mom insisted her on staying in her house, she was not comfortable there because of the acqusations put forth by the people living there. But she was in need for a shelter and a roof above her head atleast for Mazhilini. Hence she was not able to move out of that house. She was not able to express her thoughts to Vijay.

She chuckled when she remembered how Vijay tried to pacify her last day. Their conversation was harshly interrupted by Vijay's phone. Though he didnot informed her the news he got through phone, she knew from his expression that the news is bad. But what caught her heart was; Vijay didnot left her unattended, he called her doctor and requested her to look after Kavitha in his absence and also he took permission from Kavitha to go out.

"Kavitha, I am sorry for leaving you here alone. But I have to go now. I have asked the doctor to look after you as a personal request. Please can I go now?" were Vijay's exact words.

Though Kavitha wanted to say that why he was taking her permission she decided against it and just nodded her head positively. And after many days, her face was adorned with a genuine smile; reason, Vijay.

Sekar and Mahesh were in ACP office after deciding to take police help for finding their sister in law. As ACP was a close acquaintance of  Mahesh, they decided to make their move unofficial.

"Mahesh we can not disclose many things about her to Sashi", Sekar said while waiting for Sashi(ACP).

"Yes, I am also thinking about the same", Mahesh replied.

"We can say some basic details of her and if we are questioned about her relationship with our family, then we can say her as one of the fling of Pappu", Sekar replied after thinking for some minutes.

"But it will sabotage our family's reputation", Mahesh countered.

"But Pappu is no more and we are making this move unofficially. So I don't think it will affect our family", Sekar explained.

" Okay Sekar, we will stick to this story", Mahesh nodded and they continued to wait for Sashi.
And at that moment, they forgot to figure out that Sashi was waiting for them to come to him.

Vijay was sitting in the waiting room along with his family members. His thoughts drifted back to Kavitha. He got afraid when he looked at unconscious Kavitha. He knew panicking on that situation will not bring any solution. He was relieved when doctor assured him that Kavitha was alright and all that she needs is rest.

It's been nearly a day since he left Kavitha in the hospital room alone. He didnot failed to check on Mazhilini too. He didnot informed about Kavitha to his mom. They were already tensed about the health condition of Kalai. He was frustrated when got interepted by the phone call while he was talking to Kavitha. But the news he got shook him.

"Vijay, come to our hospital immediately. Our Kalai had a heart attack", that's what he heard from Vanitha over phone.

He knew what he heard about Kalaiselvi will not be good to Kavitha, thus without any choice he left her in the hospital after taking assurance from her that she will be good even without anyone. He personally asked the doctor to take care of Kavitha in his absence.

He sighed and looked at the white ceiling of that waiting room. 'These walls might have heard many genuine prayers', he thought. He closed his eyes and prayed for Kalaiselvi's recovery and for the wellbeing of other patients in the hospital. After the prayer he felt at ease, knowing that the God of all knowing is watching over everything and He will make it all right. And finally after many days, Vijay smiled.
