Althea’s POV
“Cole.”
He smiled but not like the smile that he always gave me. “I guess I can’t be that separated with you that long. It’s been 1 month.”
“What are you doing here?”
“I’m invited?”
“Invited?”
“I’m a shareholder.”
“What?”
“I buyed shares from the company of your’s and your grandfather.”
“Why?”
He chuckled. “You’re never ending questions.”
“I’m not in a mood para makisakay sa kalokohan mo Cole.” Papasok na sana ako ng magsalita siya.
“I did that to make you mine.”
I turn to face him. “Kahit na anong gawin mo mas malaki pa rin ang shares ko, ng lolo ko at ng asawa ko.”
“I don’t want to hear that! ASAWA?!” Nabigla ako sa pagsigaw niya. Then he just kissed me and touch me, but I push him ver hard then slap him. He just smirk at me.
“Bastard! Don’t ever go near me.” Then pumasok na ko sa loob, as I was walking in the corridor, pinupunasan ko yung bibig ko, natatakot na ko sa kaya nyang gawin. Ganun ba ko kasama para magbago siya ng ganun. Tears fell in my eyes but I suddenly wipe it.
“Al?”
“Yu-yuan.” I don’t know but I found myself hugging him.
“What happened?”
“Nothing. Just let me.” Then he hugged me back. Bumalik na kami sa upuan. He was asking me but I don’t answer, and he knows that I don’t want to say it kaya eventually tumigil din siya.
“Pupunta lang ako ng powder room.” I was heading towards it when I saw Sage sa taas ng hagdan.
“You’re a very good actress.”
“What?”
“You.” Kinuha niya yung phone niya.
“What are you doing?”
“Here.” She let me see a picture of me and Cole when he kissed me in the garden. “You’ll regret it.”
“Hindi mo alam ang nangyari.”
“No I saw it all. Na pinilit ka lang niya, pero ano kayang iisipin ng iba?”
“Are you threatening me?”
“No. Are you?”

“You can say that I fool Yuan. I know he can’t forgive me. But you” sabay turo sa akin. “I will not fall alone. I will let them know.”

I was shocked pero I need to react. I saw nothing in his eyes. He passed through me. Kinuha niya yung cellphone ni Sage. He stared at it. I want to say that it’s not what he think… but I can’t.

“Damn!!!” He said as he make the phone torn into pieces nang binalibag niya yun sa sahig. He turn around at hinila ko.
