The morning started with an argument between Raven and Charles.
They argued--a lot.
All the X-Men members knew about it, they didn't want to close their ears and ignore all this, this wasn't an ordinary fight between siblings, the problem was much bigger.
The professor may have asked too much from them just to keep his office filled with the president's small trophies and gold medals.
Maybe at first, it was fun when they become famous and always in the spotlight, their sweet faces were prominently displayed in popular magazines and every news on TV channels, informing the public that Mutants could be heroes instead become enemies of humans, The X-Men were the bridge to build peace between humans and mutants in the world.

Even though deep in their hearts there was still a fear if all this peace was suddenly shattered, and then hatred towards Mutants will return.
That was why they keep trying their best.
But on the other hand, there was Charles who felt that he had no choice, he knew that the bridge of peace that he had worked so hard to build over the years was very fragile, one mistake that his X-Men made, would instantly destroy it, and Charles did not sure that he could fix it again if that were to happen.
So he became tougher on them.

They were no longer children, they were adults and understand the consequences of their every action as X-Men who keeps the peace.
Charles knew that humans were naturally afraid of what they didn't understand, that all of humanity looked suspiciously at mutants, and knowing that there was a species with superior genes would make humans do whatever it took to prevent their extinction.
And his argument with Raven would only end quickly, he knew how to handle her.
Tonight the president invited Charles and his X-Men to attend an awards ceremony which was also attended by other dignitaries, as well as potential donors whom Charles knew would greatly help Xavier School in the years to come.
