Erik Magnus Lehnsherr who was also known as Magneto, a former prisoner, leader of the Brotherhood of Mutants, or as people commonly refer to as the supervillain who guards the island of a mutant named Genosha, never expected to find himself cooking pancakes at 7:45 am.
Why? Because of his beloved daughter, Wanda had told him she wanted pancakes.
"Good morning Papa," Wanda gave Erik a soft kiss on the cheek, it felt like spring had just passed him.
"Good morning, Wanda, here are your pancakes," Erik served them while they were still warm.
"Oh wow! You really made this for me....."
"Yes, anything for you...." said Erik.
"Now, come on give it a try," Said Erik, waiting for some comments about his pancakes.
Wanda happily gave it a try, popping one bite into her mouth, feeling a sensation of immense pleasure.
"Well....this is not bad," Wanda said.
"That's it?" Erik raised his eyebrows as he took off his apron.
Wanda waved "No, your pancakes are the best!" Wanda said.
"You have to teach me how to make it," she demanded a little.
"Of course," Erik replied, smiling.
Wanda took a small piece and fed her father.
Erik was always happy that Wanda was here-- in Genosha with him, so not all of his children were away from him. Pietro and Lorna were across the ocean, they were far from him, but at least Erik was glad they still made regular calls. And as for Pietro, if he had time, he'd run straight to Genosha to meet him and left after a few warm hugs.
And now even Charles didn't contact him anymore, maybe he was busy or something, Erik didn't know, he didn't want to bother Charles either. Although he wanted Charles to at least give him a little information about his children, whether they were okay, were they happy, or if they were injured on the mission.
Thinking about the mission, Erik had been hearing a lot of rumors lately that the X-Men had now become the president's main puppet.
He didn't feel happy about it because why? Why do mutants have to take on dangerous missions for humanity?
Erik could never understand how Charles realized his dreams and goals for the Mutants. They clearly have two completely different visions and ways, maybe that was why they could always argue so easily.
And now with their infrequent contact, Erik was getting more unable to understand what Charles really wanted.

Charles was still angry, although not as bad as yesterday but he was still angry at Pietro, and also angry with Raven who constantly provoked his emotions and anger, accusing his every action as a form of selfishness and ego.
