Third Person
"You told me you won't leave me..." She lowered her head and avoided his gaze, "Pero ano 'tong ginagawa mo?"
Greggy pressed his lips together before he walked towards her, as she counted his steps, she moved back. "Don't." She choked out.
He felt miserable, he didn't want to do this but here he is...
"I'm sorry..." He uttered softly, his eyes fell on a pair of light brown orbs of beauty, "I don't have a choice..." He added before swallowing a lump on his throat and pushing back the tears that were now forming.
"You will always have a choice, Gregorio..." She frowned, and as she turned and walked away, her vision darkened and the only thing she remembered was how her body hit the ground.
"Iya..." Someone called out. Her body was shook by a figure she couldn't directly tell as her eyes failed to unblur whatever she was looking at. As her eyes fluttered, her vision started to clear up.
There Imee was seen on the edge of Irene's bed, her hand rested on her younger sister's leg. "Why are you crying in your sleep?" The older one frowned.
Irene's eyebrows furrowed, her head turned left and right as he scanned the room, "You mean... I was just sleeping?" She asked innocently. Imee inhaled and nodded, "Why? Ano bang napanaginipan mo?" She moved closer.
The younger one shook her head and sat down on her bed. "It's nothing..." She wiped the her cheeks dry. "It was a nightmare..." She gave Imee a small smile.
Imee felt unconvinced and decided to push Irene further, "Since when did you start hiding secrets from me? Hmm?" She tilted her head to the side as she waited for a response.
Irene sighed at this and looked at her sister as she brought her knees to her chest. "It's just a dream... But it felt real..." She hugged her knees. "Ang alin?" Imee asked. "Him leaving me..." She frowned.
The older then nodded slowly at this and gave her sister a sad smile, "Hey... Don't overthink it... Greggy's much in love with you, bakit ka niya iiwan?" She comforted.
Sighing, Irene just nodded and smiled, "You're right... Panaginip lang naman 'yon..."
Imee patted her sister's arm and invited her, "Halika na, breakfast is ready and Liza is also here." She smiled. "Liza?" Irene cocked her head. "Si Louise... Diba she goes by Liza na?" Imee informed as she stood up.
Irene's mouth formed the letter "o" as she nodded slowly, "Breakfast talaga, ha?" She chuckled. "Eh, si Bonget, di makapaghintay... Plano na sigurong papakasalan..." Imee shook her head.
"Oh? Talaga? Sana naman... Ah," She paused, Imee looked at her confusingly, "Kamusta pala kayo ni Kuya Tom?" Irene cheekily grinned.
Imee's cheeks turned red at this and rolled her eyes to contain her kilig, "Nako, that's for another time na." She bit her lower lip, "Dali na."
Irene hurried to stand up, went to her dresser, and brushed through her hair. "Nandoon na ba sila sa table?" She asked her older sister who was now getting irritated by her slowness. "Yep, tayo na lang hinihintay."
As Irene nodded, both of them went out of her room and headed into the kitchen where their family were waiting "Finally, nandito na ang sleeping ugly." Bongbong looked at Irene smugly.
"Whatever Bongbong Panget." Irene rolled her eyes as she went towards her father and mother and gave each of them a kiss on the cheek. "Liza, sure ka na si Bongbong papakasalan mo in the future? May time ka pang mag back out..." Irene smirked as she sat down beside Imelda.
