Third Person

Everything was great.

They were finally settling with all the chaos that just happened.

Henry won Giah's custody, Greggy's company has topped all the estate companies, Irene's fabric business is going well, her jewelry business (which she bought from Greggy's mother) was doing really well.

Bongbong and Liza got married, Imee and Tommy got engaged, and Irene and Greggy? They're living their best lives.

They just got back from their trip from Hong Kong. A 3-day business trip turned a week of vacation for them. Some things got quite steamy and intimate as they were alone and had so much time together.

It was the third week of June. Summer's going to end in just a few days and there was Irene, fiddling over her pen, clicking the top of it.

A knock on the door then disrupted her mind. She fixed herself first before answering the door. "Who is it?" She asked.

"Mour..." Greggy opened the door and revealed a bouquet of tulips and a paper bag of take out food.

Irene smiled at him and stood up, meeting him half-way. "Hello, mour!" She tiptoed and kissed the side of his cheek.

"Hello, mour... I miss you..." He kissed her forehead. Irene chuckled and shook her head, "Kakabalik lang natin from Hong Kong."

Greggy frowned, "Hindi ka ba pwede mamiss?"

"Pwede na man..." She giggled. Greggy smiled at her and held out the bouquet, "Tulips for the most beautiful woman I know."

She took the flowers and placed it below her nose to smell, "Hmm..." She inhaled, "Fresh." She commented and smiled.

"Of course!" He chuckled, "Fresh flowers for Madam Freshness!"

"Nako! Ikaw talaga!" She clicked her tongue, "The employees are calling me that here na..." She shook her head. "Nakakahiya kaya!" She walked away to the welcoming side of the office and placed the bouquet on top of the table.

Greggy laughed at her reaction and proceeded to hug her from behind. "Totoo naman... Madam Freshness." He smirked as he placed a quick kiss on her nape.

"What did you bring?" She pointed at the paper bag that was dangling from his left hand. "Oh, I brought Lola's ice cream." He grinned.

He then check the wall clock, "Saktong-sakto oh, for snacks." He looked at her and smiled. "You went to Lola and Lolo's place without telling me?" She pouted.

Greggy chuckled and pulled her close to him, "They visited me sa office kanina... Gusto nga nilang bisitahin ka dito but they had to go somewhere. Next time na lang daw."

Irene scrunched her nose and nodded, "Come on. Let's eat! I miss her ice cream soooo much!" She said as she prolonged the 'o' syllable.

Greggy placed the paper bag on the table and brought the circular tubs of ice cream out. "This one's *Banana Nutella," He pointed and opened the lid, "And this one's **Oreo and Milk... or just Cookies and Cream." He opened another one.

"I want the banana nutella, please." Irene sat down on the couch.

"Coming right up!" He said as he got the spoon and gave it to her. "You know, I miss this..." He exhaled.

"Miss what?" She asked.

Greggy pointed to the both of them, "This. Just us and ice cream and questions." He smiled.

"Ay sus! Nag se-senti ka lang naman..." She teased him and chuckled. "You know... I really want to know what Lola and Lolo's secret in marriage." She popped in the idea.
