"Can you explain to me why you told your friend that I'm your boyfriend?" Greggy asked her as he took a bite of his beef tenderloin.

Irene looked at him and felt her heart race, "I'll tell you some other time... Let's not indulge into something serious now..." She reasoned out.

This made Greggy frown and get more curious. "Ay sus." He looked at her, "Come on... Spill..."

She shook her head, "No. Really. I'll tell you when we get back sa office." She smiled.

He just raised both his eyebrows and nodded slowly, "Whatever you say..." He smirked and continued to eat his food.

"I have a question though..." She trailed on, "Sabi mo hindi tayo magiging seryoso..." Greggy pointed out. She just rolled her eyes and chuckled, "This is different!"

Greggy just nodded, "Okay... okay... shoot." He smiled.

"What if... What if someone cheats on you?" She looked at him in the eye, her face serious. Greggy frowned at this and sighed, "That's serious..."

"But it's different." Irene smirked.

He leaned back on his chair and thought of what to answer, "I don't know... It's both unlikely and likely to happen." He says in a hesitant voice.

"Cheating is a choice kasi... It doesn't magically happen... You take time to do it since you are aware that you have a partner. Hindi naman siguro yun, ah lolokohin ko girlfriend ko kasi gusto ko. Hindi ganon yun eh, you are aware that you have a partner and you are aware that you have to make a choice." He added this.

Irene smiled at him, "May pinaghuhugutan ah?" She teased. Greggy just shook his head and sipped on his champagne.

She rests her elbows on the too of the table and rests her chin on her left palm. "Here's another one." She said as she took her glass of champagne on her other hand.

"Anong gagawin mo kung niloloko ka?" She looked at him in the eyes, once again, before sipping on her last drop of champagne.

Greggy took a deep breath before responding. "It will take time to get the trust back. Have you heard of the saying, 'hatred is contagious but so is trust?' It's likely that."

"Isn't it, 'hatred is contagious but so is love'?" She questioned. Greggy chuckled, "Ah basta yun! When there's love, there's trust." Irene chuckled at him and shook her head.

"So? Anong gagawin mo?" She asked.

He then shrugged, "I really don't know yet... I can't seem to imagine what I'd do if I'm in that situation..."

This made Irene bite her lip, I'm sorry Greggy... Niloloko na kita...

Greggy looked at her, "Bakit ka napatanong?" It was now time to ask her. She shrugged in response before leaning back, "Just curious..." She showed him a small smile.

"Eto... I have a question..." Greggy smiled. Irene scrunched her nose at him, "Wag yung seryoso." She warned. "Eh? Unfair naman, you asked me some serious questions and I can't even ask you?" He acted hurt.

She rolled her eyes at him and waved her hand, "Oh sige na nga. Go."

Greggy grinned from ear to ear, "Here... What's your take on cheating? Let me give you a scenario... What if, a guy and a girl is in a relationship pero hindi sila official..." He was cut off by a snort from the woman in front of him.

"Ano ba yan! Pang teenager!" She protested. Greggy gave her a smug look, "Listen first kasi." He scolded Irene. "Okay okay sige nga"

"Ayun nga... Is it really considered cheating when they're not official?" He asks. Irene fell silent on this, her mind running and her heart racing.
