Everyone knew Y/n was clumsy. She could be walking in town and trip over nothing. Or she could be lost in thought and bum into a tree. Julieta met with her many times throughout the years, and it's a shocker that Camilo never batted an eye towards her. That was until Antonio's ceremony. Y/n wore something simple just a plain shirt and skirt, yet she still stuck out to Camilo. Camilo watched her the whole night and saw how she bumped into everything. So as a way to hide his feelings towards the girl he claimed "I just don't wanna see her get hurt." And it worked for like a week. Y/n was getting less hurt as the days went by with the watchful eyes of Camilo. And with the protection of Camilo came the feelings the both of them shared. They ended up dating and that was just another reason why Y/n was always at Julieta. And she hated her clumsiness she hated how she had to be watched, so she decided that today was the day she was going to do something on her own. She wouldn't get permission to do this, of course, so she woke up extra early, grabbed a basket she can fill with fruit, and snuck out. Wasn't her finest moment but she wanted to prove herself.

You got the fruit without hurting yourself and before you knew it you were on your way home. Until one of Antonio's pets showed up and took the basket. You chased him for what felt like forever and the whole time you kept bumping into trees and plants. It was your final straw when you saw him go over the river. "You animal give me back the fruit!" You were out of breath and your hair was frizzy. And all you could think of is how everyone wouldn't leave you by yourself if you returned without the fruit. So you hopped on a tree branch and climbed towards the furry creature. That's where everything went downhill. The branch ended up breaking and you fell right into the water. At that point, tears were coming down your face, and all you could do was try and catch your breath. "At least give me the basket back!" The animal dropped the bag in front of you and started walking away. You sat and composed yourself before turning back.

Back at home....

Your mother was frantic trying to find you. When she found out you weren't with Camilo or anybody in town she started freaking out. Dolores said she couldn't hear you speaking and only heard the tree branches breaking. Which made everyone decide to go look near the fruit bushes. Camilo was extremely upset. Why would you go without saying something? Did you want to get hurt? It felt like decades had passed over and you still weren't found. Most of the search parties had turned around and went back to town. Camilo was also forced to turn around, but he still refused to give up.

You had made it home with tear-stained cheeks, but a smile on your face. Yes, you may have a bloody arm, frizzy hair, and tree branches in your hair, but you were able to get the fruit and come back in one piece. You walked into the house calling for your mother but nobody was answering you. You assumed that maybe she had gone to the neighbors and you quickly placed the basket down and started taking branches out of your hair. Dolores heard you humming and immediately alerted everybody. They all rushed over with some food assuming that you probably hurt on the couch. Camilo was the first to bust in to see you smiling at the bush of fruit on the table. "Camilo! Look at the bush of fruit I got! You guys didn't believe I could do it but-" You were cut off by a hug which eventually turned into a group hug. "What's wrong with you all?" You saw how everyone looked exhausted and your mother's tear-stained face. "Never go off like that without someone we thought you got hurt!" Your Mother pushed you a bit before hugging you harder. "I'm sorry I guess I might have gotten carried away this morning. I didn't mean to startle any of you." Camilo quickly pushed you into a hug. "You're safe now that's what's matters." A smile made a permanent place on your face. Gosh, you loved your family.

Lately, I've been writing shorter stories. But I like the ideas so I guess I'm okay with it! Also, I've been having ideas and starting it, and not finishing the story. I only have no more story like that than everything is going to be running smoothly again. That's why everything is all over the place. I don't have anything to say, but I love you all!
