I was happy I made the decision to take a plane ride and not to teleport. The plane ride may be long but it gave me time to think. Most people find plane rides terrifying but personally I think they're calming.
It's crazy how things can change your life in an instant. One minute I'm living in an apartment in New York, the next I'm going to a spy school in Colorado. One minute I'm a normal person, the next I'm a girl with powers. One minute I have powers, the next I'm an alpha. One minute I'm in Colorado, the next I'm on a plane to London. One minute my moms alive, the next she's selfishly murdered, and the minute after that she's possibly alive. I've slowly been learning that no matter what's going on with you, the world just keeps moving. The sun still sets, the grass still grows, and people keep moving.
That's what I had to do. I had to keep moving. I had to make a plan. We hopped on a plane on a whim but not without reason. I knew what I wanted to achieve, just not how I was going to achieve it. I knew that going into Malum head quarters was dangerous but I didn't care.
I felt a tap on my arm and turned to look at Matt who was giving me this worried look. "What's up?" I said as I looked at him.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah, why?"
"You look a little intense."
"I'm just thinking. How long till London?"
"Um, I think they said like 5 more hours."
"Are you sure you want to come with me?" I made sure to ask one last time. If I gave him enough time he could catch another flight back. A part of me felt bad dragging him into this. If he was coming, I really wanted it to be his choice.
"Yeah, I'm sure. I can't leave you to do it alone. And I want to find my dad. I know I'm kind of quiet on why I want to go so bad, but its for the same reason you want to go. That was our whole reason for teaming up, remember? Getting an amazing partner was only a plus." He smiled at me.
"Okay, if you're sure. But trust me Matt, this isn't gonna be easy, or even safe."
"Trust me Reagan, I don't care. I'll do anything to get my dad back."

About six hours later we arived in London and were on our way to our hotel. London was beautiful. If I were here for a much less serious ocasion I would be touring around and having fun, but obviously that wasn't what I was here for. Even the hotel was beautiful. I thought with it being so last minute that Matt would've settled for anything but that clearly wasn't the case. I pulled out bags out of the cab and then the two of us carried our own things. We walked up to the front desk and began checking in.
"Hello! How may I help you?" The girl at the front desk said with a cheery voice. She looked to be around our age. She probably had family connections with the hotel.
"We're checking in. Duncan Reese and Eva Price." He said as he pointed at me. He carried himself well. There was no way to be able to tell he was lying about his identity, of course unless you knew him. I looked at him but not so obvious to give us away. He sent me a telepathic message, * If Malums got word that we were in London, we'd be dead. Have to stay sort of undercover.*
*Nice save. Didn't even think of that.* I thought back to him. He just smiled back.
"May I ask why you guys are staying alone? You look awfully young." I took notice of the fact that she didn't have a British accent. It sounded more French. She must've moved here.
"We're advanced students from the States. Got into college early and decided to study abroad for a while."
"Wow so you guys are geniuses! Cool! Do you want me to update your room to two beds? We thought you were an older couple."
