We received a thunderous applause from the audience, but quite honestly I think they were cued to do so. Some people looked excited, some looked skeptical, and others mad. Matt and I began to walk out of the stadium when Alexander grabbed my arm. "Now that you guys are officially inducted into the Malums there's a couple of things we have to figure out."

"Sure like what?" I said as I looked over to make sure Matt was still by me.

"Are you guys going to be living on or off of base?"

    "On base, definitely."

"Okay good. Where are your current belongings, we can pick them up for you."

"No that's okay, we don't have much. We can pick it up ourselves."

"If you're sure... We have to make your I.D.s. Follow me." He took us to a room not too far from the stadium. He had us take pictures and answer a few questions as well as taking measurements and such. We also got our eyes and finger prints verified and scanned because some things were kept locked that way. After we got all of that done with Matt and I went back to the hotel and grabbed our clothes and some other belongings. We didn’t bring anything though, we left Matt’s laptop and some other technology behind. We decided that we’d keep the hotel room incase we had to do something that we couldn’t do on Malum headquarters. We took my laptop and we both took our phones and some weapons. When we got back to Malum headquarter we saw that Alexander was waiting for us. “Now that you’re back, I’ll show you to where you will be staying,” he said. He began walking and led us to a hallway that began at what you could tell used to be under rock. The entrance and hallway was made of grey stone and the doors were steel. He the hallway didn’t go straight like a normal one, but sort of went in a maze like spiral. It was a bunch of small hallways with a bunch of other small hallways connecting in opposite directions. We made a couple of turns and finally reached Matt’s room. It was in the middle of two others but it was still pretty big. It had a huge king bed, a couch, a little mini fridge, dresser, closet, and not much else. We left Matt to unpack and Alexander began to show me to my room. My room was a whole two floors below Matt’s floor. Matt was on the 48th floor while I was on the 50th floor. Unlike buildings the floors were counted going down, so I was more underground.

My floor only had four rooms in it, and they were spaced rather far from each other, meaning that my room would be substantially bigger than Matt’s. I swiped my ID which opened up my room which, as I guessed, was way bigger than Matt’s. It was the size of an apartment. There was a huge king sized bed, a couch, a small kitchen, and a bunch of empty space. “You can customize your room, we will get you anything that you want. The same goes for your friend. You’re actually on the last completed floor of headquarters. There are tons more below us, but they are nowhere near complete. This was supposed to be like the other residential floors, but for some reason construction stopped and only four got done, so instead of the extra space being used for more rooms, the existing rooms were kept at this size.”

“Why didn’t you give the bigger room to Matt?”

“Rooms are chosen by a random process. It was nearly the luck of the draw.”

“I have a hard time believing that with my luck I got this place. And why’d they send the doctor to tour us? Don’t you have patients to look after?”

“Not at the moment, no. But I’m one doctor not the only doctor, they can do fine without me. Anyways, to answer your other question, I volunteered to show you to your room, and with you came your friend. It was a package deal, not to my knowing.” Listening to him speak sort of made me blush. I had to admit his British accent was adorable.
