One Last Dance

I'm so sorry I haven't updated my fanfic I've been really busy and I've been visiting my sister at the hospital. I'll try updating daily if I have time. Really sorry now you can read

ROSS'S POV

I begin to drive up the mountains trying to find her vehicle. So far no sign. She better be okay.

I send her a text- Maia where you at?

A few minutes later she replies-
Why do you ask?

R- I'm just asking

I kind of tricked her in a way because I got her location and she was 2 miles away. I tracked down the location and I soon saw her teal VW bus. I parked away from her car and got out. The air is much better here in the mountains. I got my shades and walked over to her car.

She wasn't there! I walked around but no sign. I went down to the lake but didn't see people. Except a girl in a black swimsuit sitting in the log next to the water.

I found her.
I found Maia.

It felt like I finally got weights off my shoulders. A warm touch into my heart.

I quietly tiptoed to Maia. As I got closer I brought my arms out to try to pick her up. Closer and closer I got to her. I soon swooped her out of her position and swung her around.

"Ross? Ross! What what are you but how did you find me?" She pulled down so I could put her down.
"How could I not know where my best friend would go?" I chuckled "I also might have tracked you down when I texted you" I scratched my head
"Ross you didn't have to come" she smiled slowly
"I did have to come because I was worried. Why did you leave?" I asked sitting back down with her
"Ross no one cares about me like haven't you noticed?" Her voice cracked
"But I care about you don't you see!" I get back up looking down at her
"Ross you just feel bad that I left and I don't want your sympathy" she turns her back on me
"Maia look at me I came here for a reason and that's to see you I would do anything to see you" I go around the log to see her eye to eye

She doesn't speak for a few minutes but I keep looking at her. A tear drops from her face.

"Trent cheated on me" she says slowly wiping her tear.
"He WHAT!!" I started to cling my fist. Once I see him he's going to pay for it
"Maia he's going to regret it so bad" I pull my hair back
"Stop! Stop trying to pretend you care. Just go with Maddie!" She stood and walked away to the water.
"Can you stop?" I followed her
"Stop what?" She turned
"Maia face it I care about you and there's nothing you can do about it now come on we are going to have the best few days of vacation that we have left understood aussie" I pulled her hand over to a boat near by
"Fine just because I don't want to go home" she rolled her eyes

We walk over to the boat and get in.
I can tell she hadn't been in a boat lately.

"So how are we going to get it to move?" She asked me
"Well here's the paddle under your seat now I'll just paddle it and we will be in the middle of the lake in no time" I joked

I kept paddling and looking at her face. I saw a smile appear on her face. The smile I've been wanting to see.

MAIA'S POV

Ross was being way to nice. And look at his muscles as he paddles the boat. His dirty blonde has flowing as the wind hits it. I smile at him and he smiles back.

"Do you want to stay in this stop for a while and look out?" Ross says as we get in the middle of the lake
"Sure you should rest" I smile
"Can I ask you something?" He takes his shirt off
I try so hard not to stare.
"Sure" I look up
"Why are you pushing people out of your way? Who's making you miserable?" He moves my face so I could see him
"Well my parents give no shit about me Maddie's a bitch Charlie's just around Trent is an asshole and I don't want to be the third wheel between Rydel and Hudson although they aren't the problem and you're always with Maddie" I look down
"Well why haven't you told me anything or your parents?" He says
"I don't know I just don't want to be bothering you" I slowly say
"You don't bother me!" He holds my head
"Well It's no use Ross i already lost you the only guy I love" I feel myself blush

I just said I loved him! Can I be anymore stupid. He's going to hate me now.

"You haven't lost me Mitchell because I love you" ross is inches away. I look at his lips coming closer to mine. Our lips are like magnets they touch and are locked together. I wrap my arms around his neck pulling him closer. Ross brings me to his lap and holds my waist.

I knew that we would eventually stop but I realized the boat tilting and we sunk in the water. He holds my hand and pulls me up. We are inside the freezing cold water in the middle of the lake but nothing changed the way we kissed.

"Aussie follow me to the boat" he pulls me and picks me up onto the boat and I help him get back on it.
We are both soaking wet sitting back.

"Ross I didn't mean to say that I love you it just slipped" I blushed
"Well I don't care I did mean it and I've wanted to tell you since day one when I say you outside of your house sitting alone in the middle of the night" he hugs me
"But Ross we can't tell no one what happened. Maddie is going to be mad" we paddled back
"I promise not to tell but I can't be with her anymore she's a bitch I kind of left her hanging" he smirked
"What happen?" I questioned
"Well she called you dramatic so I'm like what the fuck and I left" he laughed
"Aw" I blushed

A few minutes later we went back to our cars to get our clothes and stuff.

"Do you want to rent a room or sleep in the back of my bus?" I asked as I walked over to him

A/N- If you guys don't know what a VW bus is go look at it. It's a really cool hippy car. Lol okay hers is teal

"That sounds cool" he smile "I've got blankets"

"Alright well let's go"

At night Ross and I cuddled together. I placed my head in his chest and closed my eyes.
"Night Mitchell" he whispered
"Night Lynch" I whispered back
