A Night to Remember

MAIA'S POV

Why was Bella Thorne in my house? Who was this lady standing next to my dad?

"Why are they here?" I asked looking concerned
"Maia, Charlie, Madd this is Tamara. The women I will be marring and this is her daughter Bella" my father got red. He didn't expect this many people to be listening.

The room was silent but I didn't know what to do! I looked over at Maddie and she was in complete shock. Charlie ran to him room disappointed.

"We're going to be upstairs" I couldn't look at him. Every time I looked eye to eye with him lately so much anger built inside me.

"Uh you didn't tell me your parents were getting divorced" Jess said cutting the awkwardness
"I found out yesterday and I didn't want to tell you guys I wasn't ready but now that you've found out well guess Bella's my step sister now" I looked down at the floor.
"But it's not her fault that dad and that lady are getting married" Maddie shook me
"Your right I guess this is new for her too uh should we invite her to come to my room?" I asked
"I mean it's up to you" Rydel smiled
"I'll go get her" I got up and went downstairs
"Bella this situation isn't your fault so why don't you come upstairs" I said from on top on the stairs
"Uh okay" she looked at her mom and came upstairs
"Them getting married freaked me out as well" Bella told me
"Yeah well this is Jess and Sabrina and my half sister Maddie and you know Rydel and Ross" I let her sit on a chair and I sat in between Ross and Jess. Charlie walked in after and stared at Bella.

"Uhm Maia do you mind if I hang here dad took my video games away" Charlie was taking this way harder than I was so I want to be there for him.
"Of course Charlie" I smiled at him and he hugged me
"Aww Charlie! Come give me a hug" Jess opened her arms for a hug
"Maia let's take him to Australia" Jess joked
"You live in Australia?" Bella asked
"Me and Jess go to school over there" I said
"Australia's got some hot guys! Like before we graduate from there I'm going to bring one back or stay there tell Maia she gets all the cute guys starring at her in class but I get the hot ones huh Maia" Jess laughed
"Do you have a boyfriend" Jess asked
"Uh nope" I lied
"How about the rest of you guys" Bella asked
"I've got a boyfriend" Maddie was texting him
"I don't unfortunately" Sabrina just broke up with hers
"I have an unknown relationship" Rydel told me before about her and Ellington
"There's with one girl I really like. She's pretty and I really like her but no I don't" Ross winked at me when no one looked
"How about you Bella? You're famous I'm sure you have one" Maddie looked at Bell
"Oh no" she chuckled "I have someone in mind"
"Well can you girls just start the movie already and stop talking about relationships. I just want to watch something for crying out loud" Charlie shook his head while we laughed hysterically

"Okay okay start the movie for Charlie" I told Maddie
"You're a funny kid" Bella said to Charlie
"I've been told that" he smiled

"Uh Bella you're mom is calling you downstairs" my dad interrupted a few minutes after we began the movie
"Bye" we waved
"It was great hanging out with you guys" she walked out with my father

"She's seems cool" they said
"Bella's great shes really chill too" Ross told us

"Maddie Maia comes outside" my dad called

We walked down and Maddie stopped.
"What?" I asked
"Never mind" we walked outside and my father waited

"What do you need?" Maddie stayed serious
"Girls I need you to understand this was my choice and you have to business interrupting my love life okay so if Tamara is here make her feel welcomed she's going to be your step mother so act like good daughters" he shouted
"Well in movies the children don't act nice to their step mothers so okay" I smiled
"Maia! I'm not sure if I'll be living here or moving into another house it depends on your mother at this point" he announces
"Oh my mom will stay here and you can move somewhere with that lady of yours and never come back" I yelled
"She's right! And I don't understand why you cheated on Jill our mom to go with Tamara? Well I think me and Maia had enough you can go with your fiancée mom should come home later" me and Maddie walked inside and went back to my room

It was already late. I'd say about midnight and everyone in my room was asleep. Ross had went back home two hours ago. He said he had to go do something. I looked over at the window and he was singing in his room.

He directly looked over his window and smiled.

Meet me by the tree in front of my house -Maia

I slowly tip toed outside and stood by the tree.

"Boo" Ross jumped behind me.
"You scared me" I wrapped my arms behind him.
"I'm sorry but here will this chipmunk make up for it" he gave me the huge chipmunk he got at the arcade
"Aww this is adorable what should we name it" I looked at it
"Hm something that only we understand" we thought
"Slide" Ross said "say it slowly it sounds cool"
"Sliiiiide" I giggled "Slide it is" I placed him on the tree and climbed it with Ross.

We made out for quiet a while cuddled next to each other.

"I've got the next two weeks with you and once you leave it's going to go back to being boring" Ross sighed
"Ross you're going to keep in touch with me everyday and before I go to sleep or you we are going to talk for like four hours until one of us falls asleep first okay we can't let anything happen" I look at him
"I know and when I come visit you I'm going so give the biggest hugs ever" Ross pinched my nose

I know it'll be fine between us! It has to be theres no one I want to be with except Ross and I really hope Ross wishes the same with me because we can become something great.
That night we laid together on the tree singing songs and talking about stuff and how he went to perform at the Ellen show a few months back. I wouldn't never thought I'd be back with Ross and be so happy like I was that night. It was a night to remember.
