MAIA'S POV

Waking up next to the guy you love on top of a lighthouse without clothes is pretty weird but slightly romantic in a way. Last night was great and we waited the right moment to do it.

"Good morning Mai" Ross says as he gets changed into his clothes.
"Good morning Ross" I fix my hair "when are you suppose to go back"

"Tomorrow morning I think" he thinks
"Oh that sucks" I get up and kiss him on the lips
"Don't worry I'll annoy you everyday until the day you graduate and once you graduate I'll take you home with me" he smiles and wraps his arms around my neck
"You better" I smirk "we should get going back to where you're staying at or else they're going to think I kidnapped you" we pick up our stuff and drive back to the city

When we go back we get many looks from everyone. They are all suspicious.

"Hey we are back" we say opening the door to their hotel room.
"Well well isn't it the two love birds" Jess throws a popcorn kernel at my face.
"Where were you two at?" Riker comes in and we look at each other.
"Oh we went to the beach chilled you know it was very far" Ross plays with his hair
"And they closed down the highway so we couldn't get around so we stayed overnight and here we are" I lied
"Oh I see" Rydel looks over and winks
"Where's Rocky?" I ask
"He's out in the balcony" Ellington points
"I'm going to go say hi" I walk over to him

"Hey Rocky" I smile
"Hi" he mumbles "I'm sorry I didn't know you two were together"
"We didn't really tell anyone we tried hiding it but look we are still best friends alright" I pat his back
"Really" he looks me in the eyes
"Yeah I mean we an still fight with Ross and not share our kettle popcorn with him" I grin
"Want to go fight with him right now I bought some down the street" he laughs
"Yeah boy" we go inside

"Rocky my brother you got kettle popcorn" Ross comes
"Hey this is ours try getting it" Rocky throws the popcorn bag and I catch it.
"I'll get you Maia" Ross runs to me and pick me up with one arm
"Rocky we have to surrender he got them" I yell to Rocky
"Haha trying not to share wow jokes on you" Ross puts me down and we eventually share with everyone

The next day...

When we dropped Rydel and the guys at the airport we said our goodbyes but it wasn't right saying goodbye to Ross.

"I'll see you later Ross Shor Lynch" I gave him a last hug.
"Yeah know it Maia Charlotte Mitchell the year will go by so quick it'll feel like I'll be saying Congrats on graduating college tomorrow" Ross pulls me closer in
"I love you take care" I smile pulling away
"I love you too and do me a favor and don't let that voice of yours go away" he gives me a kiss and goes into the airport

"Maia I need details from that night don't play stupid I know something happened" Jess said first thing we started to drive
"So what if something happened" I chuckled and plugged in the aux cord
"I knew it! Did you guys have sex" she constantly glanced over at me while driving
"Drive and I'll tell you what happened" I started to tell her "okay so we went on a date which wasn't suppose to end up the way it did but here it goes we went to a beach about an hour away by where I used to live and there's this lighthouse we went in and chill then went in the water" I cleared my throat "with our clothes on. It was all Ross's fault just saying! Okay so we were all wet and tried to dry ourselves with towels and blankets we got. Then after we went back into the lighthouse and we looked out and he let me borrow his jumper since my clothes was wet while he was just in boxers. You know how hard it is not to get turned on to that well I got closer to him and then it just happened but I don't regret it because it was amazing and he was great" I turned to look at her face expression. Jess just laughed and covered her face. The laughing didn't stop until like 5 minutes later.

"You could've told me you had sex at a lighthouse and that would've told the story" Jess said
"Wow I thought you wanted details I was just getting started" I teased
"I'm joking what happened!!" She jumped
"No no it's okay you want it short and simple" i couldn't stop thinking about Ross though

Once we got back home we went into our room and watched movies. We didn't start school until another month so we had a month to just relax and do nothing. It's weird how all of a sudden you could feel so happy by just thinking of one person. In about 11 months I'll be done with all my school. I will have a degree and job in acting and I'll be back in California auditioning for roles in movies and hopefully get hired to do what I love. Maybe follow Ross's words about not letting my voice go away. I could possibly use it if I do movie roles or something.

"So Jess who told Ross I could sing? Do you have any clue at all?" I asked sarcastically
"Uh yes Aunt Amanda I'll get the trash" Jess gets up and comes back
"You're so stupid but thanks" I get her back by throwing a popcorn kernel at her face like she did yesterday
"Hey!" She shouts
"Hey that was from yesterday... But why did you tell Ross Huh" I looked at her
"I mean come on you sing everywhere here, the shower, in the car, at school, five minutes ago you were singing to a commercial why've got a voice Mitchell come on I love you" Jess points
"I love the way you love the way you love me yeah love the way you love me love the way you love me" I sing making a joke
