They Don't Know About Us

MAIA'S POV

I arrived early this morning and got a cab to my aunts house. My aunt didn't know we were coming early so when we entered her house she thought she was getting robbed or something. Me and Jess share a room so we are pretty much always together which isn't a bad thing.

"Let's go to a show tomorrow" Jess insisted
"I need to rest you can go" I fell on my bed and closed my eyes
"Lighten up Maia you're going and we are leaving in exactly 24 hours so that's a lot of time to rest" Jess throws a pillow at me
"Who's going to be there" I mumbled
"Enough talking Mitchell go to sleep" and we slept until midnight to get food.

I went to the kitchen grabbed a cup and poured juice in it. I look at the time and it was 12:34 pm. I sat down on the couch and turned on the tv. I looked for things to watch but I ended up just putting on a random movie I didn't really care about.

I looked at my phone and looked at the pictures I took. I threw my phone at the first picture with Ross and I. It's all my fault. I mean was it even worth over reacting I don't know.

I headed back to my room and thought about everything.

"Wake up! Maia wake up lazy ass come on get ready it's already 10 and we have to go eat breakfast help Aunt clean up and get ready for the concert" Jess pretty much dropped me from my bed
"Jess chill" I got up and yawned
"Fine but hurry" she went on to the kitchen while I did my bed.

"Good morning aunt Amanda" I smiled
"Good morning Maia" Aunt Amanda have me a plate of food
"Aunt Amanda me and Maia are going to a concert today" Jess looked at me
"Last time I checked she wasn't your aunt" I said
"Oh Jess is like another niece" aunt smiles at Jess

After we ate we helped clean and went to go shower and get ready.
I wore a black dress and some boots and my hair was messy.

"You look cute ready to get a guy" Jess winked
"Shut up" I rolled my eyes and laughed

Jess and I got our purses and drove the car aunt Amanda gave us to use.
Jess looked over excited.

"Why are you so excited for a concert? I mean I get it but you're way to excited" I said but Jess just get singing.

We got to the concert but Jess told me to wait out in the car because she had to make a phone call. While she called someone I had some time to apply some makeup.

"Let's go" Jess opens my the door
"Okay Jess" I get off and we begin to walk the the ticket place.

We handed out tickets to the ticket lady and she made us go some other way.

"Is it just me or is it a bit quieter than usual concerts" I asked
"You're right pretty odd" she says
"Wait look that's your name in a poster it says Maia" she points
"Jess you know there's a lot of Maias in Australia" I laugh
"But then why does it says Mitchell at the distance?" She gets confused
"I don't know coincidence maybe" I pull down my hair
"Let's just keep looking" Jess pulled my hand
"Maia Mitchell follow is what it says so far" I had no clue what was going on
"Maia Mitchell follow this" Jess kept walking faster
"Maia Mitchell follow this track" I said turning at a curve.

A blinked once more and when I turned I saw a huge door opening with a crowd of people cheering.

"What's happening" I whispered
"Let's go up the stage to see" Jess held my hand and we walked through the empty row surrounding so many people. I just smiled and felt very awkward.

Once we got on stage we waited to see what happened. I felt myself get blindfolded.

"What's going on?" I asked
"Just hang in there" Jess laughed

The crowd began to cheer even more. It was very weird.

"Three two one" someone whispered

Someone took the blindfold off and Ross stood right in front on my eyes with roses in his hands.

"I'm terribly sorry I made you feel the way you felt and I didn't mean for you to think I was with someone else but I would never be with someone who isn't you because all I want is you. You are the only girl I want from any other girl in this world. Maia Mitchell I love you and if you give me a chance I'll show you. Please will you forgive me" he smiled. I missed that beautiful smile of his. That bright smile that can change your frown upside down 😉
"Oh course I will" I jumped on him and gave him a huge hug
"I love you too" I whispered

"Awwwwww" the crowd took pictures and screamed "Raia!!!"

"Just wait up. R5 family did you guys know Maia has an incredible voice. She hides it because she doesn't think she can sing but actually I've heard from Jess that she's amazing so why not hear her yeah!" Ross shouted and gave me a smirk look
"No no Ross it's okay they don't have to" I felt myself turn red
"Maia! Maia! Maia! Maia!" Soon everyone started to scream my name

"Fine fine" I got the mic from Ross
"Uh I wrote this song a while ago it's called They Don't Know About Us and it goes a little like this"

"People say we shouldnt be together

But I say they dont know what they talk, talk, talkin about" I look straight into Ross's eye and held his shirt

"Everyone Maia Mitchell" Ross clapped and winked at me
Ross leaned in and kissed me in front of everyone. He didn't care about anyone but us.

I looked over Ross's shoulder and saw Rocky looking down and we made eye contact. He just stood with a serious face.
