One Last Dance

What did I get myself into?

The next morning....

ROSS'S POV

Maia and I had a blast last night. We danced on the treehouse all night and laid down to look up at the sky and have weird conversations. Half of the time we were just laughing and smiling at each other. She's the cutest girl ever. Maia isn't like other girls shes real and has amazing vibes. Rydel found out about last night and so did all my brothers but I don't really care because now they'll leave her alone.

"Morning Lynch" Maia said passing my room
"Wait Mitchell come here" I said. I got up and grabbed her hand.

"What are we doing?" She asked
"Come here" I closed my door and kissed her lips softly. She didn't hesitate and kissed back grabbing my shirt. We kissed for a good minute until Rydel was calling.

"Oh crap I need to go back home! Mind helping me?" She said
"Of course. Rydel!!" I yelled
"Go distract Maia's parents while I help Maia go back to her room."

"Okay what do I say?" She asked
"Go ask them about Australia!" Maia said running downstairs

"Australia?" Rydel said
"Just go" I said

We climbed the fence and I helped her stand on the rail. She had a small ladder connected so she climbed it up to her window. She got back to her room safely without making too much noise.

"Thanks" she whispered.
"Your welcome aussie" I said and climbed back to my house

"Ross!" She called out
"Yeah?" I turned back
"I had a great time dancing with you yesterday" she smiled
"So did I! Uhm I'll call you later" I waved

I got back inside and my brothers were all lined up laughing.

"What?" I asked
"Oh please we're not stupid we know you and Maia have a huge thing together" Ryland said
"That's why we are going to help you out" Riker said
"We will help you beat up Trent" Rocky said patting my back

"That's not a good idea!" Rydel said coming inside
"Why not?" Ryland asked
"Have you not seen how muscular he is and the friends he has. Just beat him up if he does something to Maia again or comes inside this house. Get it?" She said

"Whatever" Rocky rolled his eyes
"Maia's birthdays coming soon it's already the end of July what are you planning of doing?" Rydel asked
"I'm going to sing her a song I wrote for her at 12 in the morning when her day starts" I grinned
"Wow that's actually a good idea too bad your band will be sleeping" Riker laughed
"No we will stay up and set up in front of her house to help Ross sing her the song right guys" Rydel said scolding to my brothers
"Yes Rydel" Riker shrugged
"You just can't say no to your sister can you" Rydel smirked
"I'm older than you Rydel!" Riker said
"But I'm the only girl in the family so I win" Rydel laughed
"Thank Rydel" I hugged her
"Anything for my favorite brother" she hugged back
"You say that to all of us!" Ry yells from the kitchen

MAIA'S POV

I quickly closed the window and took my shoes off. My stomach started growling and loudly. Well I have to come down sometime. If they start yelling or telling me things I'll just start thinking about yesterday. I unlock my door and start headed downstairs. I can hear my dad and Maddie talking in the kitchen. Should I overhear their conversation? Might as well right.

D- "Madd it's okay to call me dad in front of her. She's going to get used to it or at least has too"
M- "Alright then dad I'll try it's just she gets me mad and makes me feel left out. She hates me! What did I do to her?" She whined

What the hell is she talking about? She's the one who started crap with me and Del. Now she wants my dad to feel pity for her. That bitch.

I can't help it that she gets to talk about me while my dad feels pity for her and angrier at me. I walk into the kitchen as see them stare at me. I don't make eye contact I just ignore and pour cereal onto a bowl. I open the fridge and get the milk.

I feel the bad vibes.

"Well since you don't want to speak to me or make any eye contact at all you can't eat our food" my dad scolds
I begin to cough and laugh.

"Mom buys the food" I roll my eyes
"Who gives her the money?" My dad takes my bowl away
"You're so rude! How can you take food away from me! From your daughter? That is the most pathetic thing! Might as well kick me out!" I yell
"Go! You're out! Get out of here you're so rude and disobedient!" He screams at me

My mom runs to the kitchen.

"What's happening!" She yells
"Apparently I'm being kicked out of the house!" I look at my mom
"She's OUR daughter! How can you do that to her? You should feel horrible about yourself" my mom glares at my dad

"You know what he's right I'm moving the out of here. I'll find a job and pay the bills and get a head start into life. Thanks for everything mom, tell Charlie I'll come visit him when I have free time" I run upstairs to my room.

What did I just get myself into? How am I going to find a job this easily and rent an apartment? Maia Charlotte Mitchell what are you going to do! Okay first let me text Del to see if she'll be kind enough to help me pack. And after find places to get an apartment.
