The New Project

MAIA'S POV

Breathing the fresh ocean air and sitting on my home sand while looking out at the local surfers feels great. Being back home brings back my great memories. But coming back as a real actor gives me a surreal feeling, I came back home successful.

A brand new summer awaits.

"Maia lets go we've got shopping to go to" Jess and Sabrina drag me out of the beach just to go shop for new clothes to wear for auditions. It's pointless for me but I might as well tag along.

"Hey where you guys heading to" Ross catches up to us
"Shopping" I roll my eyes
"Oh well I need Maia for something sorry" he saves my life
"We need Maia for shopping Ross you can have her tonight wait I think we might go partying" Sabrina thinks
"I'll catch up with you girls later" I hold Ross's hand and we head back to some shade

"Thanks for saving me from shopping I mean I love shopping it's just I wasn't in a mood" I wrap my arms around his neck
"You're so welcome I wanted to see you and ask you a question would you like to make a film with me just you and I plus like our siblings and friends" he asked sitting on a bench
"Explain" I looked at him
"Well I want to make a film of our lives you know. I want to produce a documentary as just a small project it'll take some time years maybe I mean you're 20 almost 21 and I'm 21 wait wait I got it what if we make a movie aha" I thought deeper into what he was saying
"A documentary of our lives sounds cool I guess I'd be cool with it" I smile
"I want it to be just a chill film explaining our lives and what it is just being us you'll see once it comes out" he winks
"When do you plan to start?" I ask
"Well I need to think of how to start it any ideas" he scratches his head
"Okay hm what if you start it with a song" I suggest
"Yeah yeah! That's great wow I've got a great idea we'll start it with a song but you've got to duo with me come on yeah" he holds my hand
"You want to start the song with me?" I was expecting it to be with his band
"Why not it's a fun film it's got to have you and I start it" he laughs
"You're such an idiot but fine Lynch" I smirk
"Thanks Maia papaya" he grins
"Whatever hug me please" I reach my arms out and soon I get picked up and put on Ross' back

ROSS'S POV

Later that night when Maia is sleeping right next to me I think about the film. I imagine this film to be full of our moments. I want it full of adorable smiles of Maia, her laugh, and our time together. These past years made me realize that I wouldn't of become the person I am if it weren't for Maia. What if I kept doing drugs? I'd probably stop singing and start some drug business with the girl I met at the beach who gave me a cigarette. If I did I'd be in the streets maybe getting killed. Id be that loser kid who risked his life for the stupidest things trying to live cool without any hurt but it wouldn't hurt my family and friends. It would have but it didn't and I'm more than glad it didn't all because of Maia. She's really my saver and I have to thank her in this film. She thinks it'll be a family/friend film but it won't slightly be that it'll be more of her amazing moments and I'm going to explain why she's my hero and how much I love her. I will talk behind the camera and while I talk have her smiling and laughing in slow motion.
I've got this film in a way planned out but you never know I might have other ideas the only thing is time. Since Maia started her new show she'll be working but filming takes time so would it really be a problem?

I stroke Maia's hair and see she's sleeping like an angel so soon I fall in deep sleep.

"Ross wake up Rydel has breakfast served" Ellington knocks on the door
"Huh uh I'm on my way" I rub my eyes and slowly open my eyes.

Maia wasn't next to me so I'm guessing she left. I get dressed and run downstairs.

"What's for breakfast?" I ask
"A breakfast wrap" Rydel says handing me a plate
"Did you put spinach" I smile
"Yes of course" she rolls her eyes
"Hey sleepyhead" Maia gives me a hug from behind
"Hey Mitchell" I wink at her
"Did you eat already?" I ask
"Yeah you're the last one" she chuckles
"I was up last night" I took a bite of the wrap
"Doing?" She asked
"Thinking" I looked at her
"Oh well I'll see later I've got to go to Sabrina's they're mad because I didn't go last night and plus I have work today bye Shor" she gave me a quick kiss
"Bye Charlotte" I waved and she left
"You guys have so many names" Ellington comes in the dining room

"Ellington I need your help" I said quickly
"Slow down with what?" He was confused
"Okay well I'm starting a film about Maia and I but I need to go get a filming camera mind coming with me to buy one" I give him the biggest smile
"Why? Doesn't Riker know more about that stuff" he turns down
"I'll buy you candy"
"I'm in" he grabs the car keys

As we drive I'm getting so many questions I sort of regret telling him.

"Look I won't tell you why I'm doing it its for Maia and I okay and it's just something I thought of I was to produce the documentary. It's a new project I have in mind"
