ROSS'S POV

December 15

Maia hasn't answered my calls on skype these past few days. I don't know what's wrong. I doubt I did anything.

"Rydel why isn't Maia answering me" I ask
"She has finals think week idiot and she's been studying for the past weeks she wants to get accepted and if you don't know she's in the top ten" Rydel gives sas
"Why doesn't she tell me these things?" Im confused
"I don't know bu.." Charles interrupted
"You guys need to stop using your phones all the time come on give me them you guys need to start working and stop texting calling or whatever you do" he took away our phones and gave us the time to sing and record.

"Oh and Ross I need to talk to you come outside" I left the studio and when in the hall.

"What's up" I said
"Well I want to say good job on everything you've been doing great on your academics and I'm happy to say you've graduated. Also I need you to work even harder because if you guys keep up the great work you guys can release an album by spring time and that would be amazing" he patted my shoulder
"Really! Awesome I'll do whatever it takes trust me" he gives me a weird look
"Whatever it takes?" He says
"Yeah why are you giving me that face?"
"Well you guys need more fame and need fans to buy your stuff so I talked to Bella Thorne's manager and we think you guys should start hanging out more and possibly do a commercial for Disney Channel. But we need to make people think you guys are dating and I know you won't like the idea but you need it and you can't tell no one understood Ross no one except your band did I make that clear?" I told him I would do whatever but do I really have to pretend to be someone else's boyfriend and I can't even tell Maia?!

"Okay I'll do it but for how long?" I asked
"As long as it takes to get you guys famous and Bella is coming here tonight and you guys have a dinner reservation at 8 so suit up and get ready for paparazzi... Oh and I can't have you talking to your girlfriend okay please don't. I'm not trying to be a mean manager but I can't have you talking to her at all tell Rydel to talk to her less" she smiles and walks away

I shrug back to the studio and all eyes are on me.

"What happened?" Riker asked putting down his guitar
"Well good news I graduated and we can have an album by spring" everyone cheered
"But I've got to pretend to date Bella Thorne without telling Maia or anyone else oh and Rydel you have to talk to her less" I look down
"What is he crazy?" Rydel yells
"Guys guys it's just for some time Maia won't even find out and Rydel you'll have your best friend back in no time in five months it'll go back to normal alright so let's just enjoy this recording sing because believe it or not our career has just started" Riker settled the problem down
"I hope so" I whispered

Later that day I got ready for my 'date' with Bella. We were going to some restaurant downtown named Light Tree. What type of name is that? I put on a suit and combed my hair which I normal don't do. I went in the limo and saw Bella get in it. The first few minutes were awkward.

"Okay go have fun" our managers said

"I'm sorry this must be really awkward for you" she said looking out the window
"Yeah it is especially when I have a girlfriend back home" I looked at her
"I have a boyfriend back home too but we sort of aren't as close as before" she sighs
"I'm sorry. Well my manager told me I couldn't talk to mine until this is over but I feel like we won't talk to me after this is she finds out and I can't tell her so it sucks" I start getting frustrated
"They told you that too! Ugh our stupid managers! Well how about this we give them what they want but we'll do it quick so it'll be faster for our partners to know you know what I mean?" Bella asks
"Yeah okay well let's see we have to hang out a lot more right did they give you a schedule?" I ask her
"Yeah we have to hang out like 4-5 times a week huh not that I would t want to hang out with you it's just that's a lot and what are we going to do?" As we arrive we had our plan.

I get out the car and open the door for Bella. We hold hands and walk into the restaurant. So many flashing lights and cameras.

"We made it in woah those were a lot" I sit in my chair and look at the menu
"I know it'll build up" she smiles
"Well when this ends you've got to explain to my girlfriend it was just a set up because she's a hard to get girl" I turn to her
"Will do Ross. With all the time we have to spend with each other you're probably going to turn out to be my best friend so you'll have to let me meet this girl of yours" Bella drinks her water
"Her names Maia" I smile and show her a picture of her
"Wow she's really pretty heres a picture of my boyfriend" she shows me
"He plays hockey?" I ask
"Yeah" Bella starts to order her food

After we order our food we get back to our conversation.

"we have to set up an roller skating date with all of us" Bella continues
"It'll be really cool especially in the summer or we can go bowling there's this awesome bowling place close to where I live it's next to the beach so we could do stuff there as well" Bella wasn't such a bad person after all. She was really down to earth and had the same relationship problem that I have to go through. We both just want to get this set up over with.

I came back to the apartment and told everyone about Bella but Rydel wasn't too happy with the situation.

"Ross I will best you up if you ever really go out with Bella and I don't care if she sounds like a good person if you mess with Maia I will beat you up for her okay! You know how hard it's going to be for me to lie to her about you and Belle she's going to be asking me questions and what am I suppose to do hang up? No I can't hang up every time so watch it!" She stormed out to her room.

"Woah someone's has their monthly problem" Ellington laughs
