4: Think

Marthae's POV

We're now currently walking towards the parking lot, because that is where her car is parked.

Nakarating din kami at parehong tahimik simula kanina pa.

Hindi talaga mawala sa isipan ko ang nangyari kanina.

I also wanted her to be my partner, honestly, but I'm just afraid to ask her first earlier, because you know, I always annoy her so I thought that she'll never agree on me as her partner.

I was thinking that maybe, she wants someone who's quiet and well behaved as her partner, and not noisy and nosy, which is the total opposite of me when it comes to her.

Also I want to know her more..

I know nothing about her aside from her full name and age.

I've never been this interested and nosy in someone's life because I don't really care on someone else aside from myself and lola. I'm not a loud person too.

But just like what they say, people eventually change without them knowing because of someone they met.

"I have other thing to ask."

Naputol ang aking malalim na pag-iisip nung biglang may nagsalita.

I look at the person who spoke with a surprised look on my face.

Nakalimutan ko may kasama nga pala ako at nakarating na pala kami sa parking lot. Geez, kanina paba ako nag space out?

"You seem so shocked that I'm with you because you're too lost of your thoughts. What are you thinking?"

"Hmm? Ikaw." Sagot ko kaagad.

Natigilan ito sa aking sagot, pati nadin ako. Hindi ko man lang namalayan na nasabi ko talaga yun.

Shunga dapat kasi sa isip ko yun pero totoo naman ah? Siya naman talaga yung iniisip ko.

"Ikaw, kasi hindi ko talaga inexpect na papayag kang maging partner ako." I answered honestly.

I mean, what's the point of hiding?

Napangiti din naman ito ng maliit tsaka nagsalita.

"I mean what I said kanina." She said genuinely.

"Weh? Hindi 50/50?"

"What do you mean?" Naguguluhang saad nito.

I smirked.

"Gusto mo'ko makapartner dahil komportable ka sa'kin at.."

"What?!" Her patience are now getting thinner.

"At dahil gusto mo talaga akong makasama."

I even winked at her which she only replied a bored look and she even rolled her eyes.

"You're unbelievable."

Natawa nalang ako.

"Pero I'm serious Marthae! I have another thing to ask you.." Medyo humina pa ang boses niya sa huling sinabi.

Natigilan din ako at napaiwas ng tingin sa kanya.

That is the second time she said my name and I feel weird because it made my heart runs wild.

My name is beautiful already but it turns out that it is even more beautiful when it comes from her mouth.

At bago pa ako mag space out ulit at binalewala ko nalang ang naisip.

"Ano yun?" I tried to sound cool kahit sa kaloob looban ko ay parang lalabas na ang puso dahil sa walang kwentang pagtibok nito.
