Marthae's Pov

I tiredly lay on my bed as I stare at the ceiling, starting to get lost by my deep thoughts.

My body is tired and my mind is exhausted, so as my heart, but it won't even stop beating for my woman.

I never planned to fall in love like this.

I heaved a sigh.

I'll just sleep nalang. Tapos naman na akong maglinis sa sarili bago humiga. Also, I need to talk with my father tomorrow to discuss something..

It's now 8 in the morning and I'm fixing myself so I can start my discussion with my dad.

I still don't know how to drive a car, and I have no time nor no one to teach me so until now, I'm still keep on using my big bike. Ando'n lang din sa garage ng mansion ang sasakyan ko.

"Good morning, Ren!" Masiglang bati ng aking ina pagkapasok ko sa dining table.

I went near her and kissed her cheek.

"Good morning too, mom."

"Good morning, Mariel." Natigilan ako ng marinig ang boses ni.. Miyven. I didn't even notice him.

Our gazes met for a moment but I was the one who avoided immediately.

I only nodded and didn't bother meeting our gazes again.

"Morning." Then I turned to my mom.

"By the way mom, where's dad? I need to talk to him about something."

"Is it that important? Join me for breakfast first."

"Thank you mom but I already ate mine at my condo." I saw how my mom beautifully pouted that made me chuckle.

"He's in his office." Masungit niyang sabi na nagpatawa sa'kin ng tuluyan.

I kissed her cheek once again before bidding my goodbye.

"Thank mom, love you." Her mood quickly shifted and she's now smiling at me.

"I love you too, Ren." Wala talagang makakatanggi sa charms ko.

Tinahak ko agad ang daan papunta sa pamilyar na pasilyo, kung saan ang office ni dad.

I knocked thrice and when I heard him said "come in", that's when I open the door.

He was sitting in his swivel chair while doing something in his laptop, some papers are also beside it.

My dad looks like a ruthless business man right now. Even though at home, he's wearing a long sleeve button down polo ang slacks.

Feel ne feel pagiging business man ah.

Nag-angat ito ng tingin sa direks'yon ko at nagulat pa ito nang magtama ang aming tingin.

Lumapit ito sa'kin at bineso ako.

"Anak, what made you come here this early?" I just jokingly rolled my eyes at him.

"And what are you doing this early morning? Working, really dad?" He just laughed at what I said and guided me towards his table.

He went back again on his chair and he signed me to sit in front, with the table between us.

"It's some pending papers that I haven't been able to finish because I missed your mom so much." Napangiwi nalang ako sa sinabi nito na mas nagpahalakhak sa kan'ya.

"Clean your mind Marthae."

"Whatever dad."

"Why are you really here though? Do you need anything?" This time his voice is now full of concern.
