Special Chapter

Thank you talaga for reaching this far with me. It was a fun ride as I enjoyed writing this with you all. Thank you for being with me during my first journey in this field. It warms me as I read all of y'all's heart warming comments and feedbacks. This will be the last chapter of Sailed, and I won't be tired thanking you all. Thank you, once again. I'll surely miss them, as writing them became also a big part of me. T^T

"Love, I've got an invitation for the upcoming annual anniversary of the project I was once part of. Do you want to come?" I heard Zen asked me while we're now laying comfortably on our bed.

Zella's already peacefully snoozing in her room. Sobrang pagod ko dahil sa sobrang kulit ng anak ko, not that I'm complaining though.

I'll gladly give them all my strength and energy, my daughter and my wife. I love them so much.

Sa mapupungay na mata ay tinignan ko si Zen at nginitian.

"Hmm? Ikaw, do you want to go?"

"I am shy to decline.." I chuckled softly.

"Okay, we'll go then. What about Zella?"

"You're parents are also eager to spend their time with our daughter, pagbibigyan ko na."

My parents, they always call us and always insist to visit them to give them our Zella. I don't know if it's a good idea since they always spoil my daughter!

Pero dahil namana ko ang katigasan ng ulo ko galing sa tatay ko ay kahit anong pagsasabi ko rito, he'll just answer me na what's the use of money raw if they wouldn't spend it with their grandchildren.

Hay nako, Herdie at Reviese.

"Then we'll go, love. We'll also buy what to wear tomorrow." After I said that, I felt Zen kiss my cheeks, then my lips.

"Hmm, okay.. Good night, love." I smiled.

I pulled her closer and I felt her arms wrap more tightly at my waist and let me rest on her chest, before darkness consumes me and give me my peace.

"Zella, be good, okay? We'll bring you something when we're back, if you'll behave around your grandmama and grandpapa. Do you get me, anak?" I asked gentlg while staring adoringly at my daughter that I'm carrying.

She cutely nodded and smiled at me.

"Yes, I will, mimi. I want an ice cream po! And stik-o." Napatawa ako bago tumango.

"Okay. We'll go now, mimi needs a kiss." Pagpapacute ko rito.

I heard Zen giggle on our side.

My cute daughter cupped my both cheeks using her little hands and kissed my forehead, then my nose, my cheeks and lastly gave me a cute peck.

I pampered her face with some cute kisses too, that made her giggle.

"Say goodbye to your mommy too." I then handed Zella to Zen, which she gladly accept.

Zella did the same of what she did to me, to my wife.

"Dad, no chocolates muna for Zella until we're back. Are we clear on that part?"

My dad smiled at me, although I find it suspiciously.

"Oh, sure, anak. Kami na bahala sa apo ko." Pinaningkitan ko ito ng mata para ipaalam na nagdududa ako sa kan'ya, pero tinawanan lang ako ni gurang.

"You can both go now, Ren. Ipapasiyal din namin si Zella and her other cousin."

I sighed softly before nodding at them and give them kiss on their cheek.
