Marthae's Pov

"Another successful project from the head Engineer, Engineer Marthae Fiore! Congratulations!" I accepted his hand and shake hands with it for a second, before pulling away first.

His aura screams power and authority. He's wearing a playful smirk in his face which I don't like..

Mukhang mayabang.

Then a woman came to him and encircle her arm around the man's arm.

Malayong malayo ang aura ng babae sa lalaking kanina pa malaki ang ngisi. Ang sarap suntukin para mapawi ang ngisi niya, sa totoo lang..

I don't like him. My first impression on him isn't good either.

Unang tingin, mayabang na.

"Thank you for accepting this project iha. I'm thankful that Mr. Paul, one of our family friend in business industry, helped you convince to build my son's mansion."

Ay naku, hindi po niya ako na convince ma'am. Wala lang talaga akong choice dahil ayokong mawalan ng lisensya o masuspend.

Peke ko itong nginitian at nakipag shake hands din dito.

"Yes, it's my pleasure to be part of this project." Part of me didn't like to be assigned in her son's mansion because of personal issue but part of me is also thankful.

The Galahan are famous is the business industry, specially their son that is the new CEO of their company.

It was announced today, the same day as the celebration for the success of building Xavy Galahan's mansion that is handled by me, and other engineers that I worked with this project.

Xavy is a good man.. Or I thought so.

He was a gentleman at first. He's even friendly and caring towards me but as time goes by, I'm starting to dislike his attitude.

Nagmana sa tatay. Mayabang.

He often speak about his achievements and how great he is, around me. Boastful and self-centered.

Parang mamamatay kapag hindi naisingit ang kan'yang kayamanan at nagawa sa buhay.

I mean, it's okay to be proud of your own self and achievement because you also worked hard to be in that place. But too much boasting is a turn off.

Dapat marunong din kayong maging humble minsan. Like me.

I'm a very humble woman. I am just the simple but hot and gorgeous Marthae Reniella Fiore that is now famous in my field and passed the board exam in one try and became a sucessful and licensed at the age of 22.

Also the simple Marthae who is part of the project that built one of the biggest company in States and even though she just came back from her country land, she already handled a big project from the Galahan's that is a well known family in business industry.

Gan'yan dapat kayo. Pahumble lang.

And speaking of Xavy Galahan. He is now walking towards my direction with a wide smirk in his face, holding two glass of champagne.

Kanina pa nakaalis ang parents nito sa harap ko at sa ibang bisita naman ito nakihalubilo.

"So, are you having fun? Hindi ka naman siguro na bored nung wala ako?" I laughed at his joke, sarcastically.

"So far, I'm feeling good." Pwede na ako awardan ng best plastic of the year.

"You want some?" He offers me the other glass that he's holding, consisting of champagne.
