Marthae's Pov

"Are you sure na trabaho lang talaga 'yan, Marthae?" I rolled my eyes at him.

"Will you please just shut up, Phil?! You're so annoying."

He just chuckled.

"I know you, Marthae. I know you still haven't moved on from her—"

"Hindi ka talaga tatahimik? Isusumbong kita sa kan'ya." Banta ko dito.

"Go on. Mahal naman ako no'n eh. She can't stay mad at me for too long." I really want to erase his ugly smirk right now.

"Yabang."

"S'yempre."

"Yabang. Akala mo hindi naghintay ng dalawang taon—"

Siya naman ang umirap sa'kin.

"It was all worth it. At least it was all paid off and now we're finally together."

I'm happy for them honestly. Phil is really a good guy and a green one. It is also rare to find one like him.

Hindi mahirap mahulog sa kan'ya lalo na at sobrang bait nito, kaso may nagmamay-ari na sa puso niya at pati nadin sa'kin.

I just rolled my eyes at him once again before leaning my back at the couch I am sitting and also lean my head, facing the ceiling.

We are currently here at his office in his built firm. Yes, he already has a firm.

Years ago before this firm was built, he asked me for a collaboration like building this firm together.

I agreed. I know his family are wealthy enough to build him a firm of his own but it warmed my heart when during the time they had a vacation on States, he reached out to me and told me about his plans.

Only some people know that we both owned this firm but most engineers that are under this, doesn't know me yet.

Isa din ako sa nagtratrabaho under this firm. Hindi pa muna mataas ang posis'yon ko. Huwag muna, para mysterious. Charot.

Ayoko lang talagang mataas agad. Though, madami nading nakakilala sa'kin dahil sa project ko na nagawa from the Galahan's.

Pero kahit gano'n ay hindi ko hinayaan si Phil na ilagay ako agad sa mataas na posis'yon kasi nga humble tayo.

At ang tukmol, pumayag naman. Ako lang naman daw ang maghihirap so bahala nadaw ako sa buhay ko.

He's currently the chief engineer and he'll soon assigned me as VP of engineering.
