Clint Barton had never seen Natasha Romanoff so lovestruck before in his entire life knowing the former assassin.

But that was before (Y/n) (L/n) - Tony's best friend - had moved into the Compound. After all the other Avengers had tried making meals for a few weeks, Tony had put a stop to it, calling (Y/n) to be the Avengers' personal chef. Though (Y/n) had insisted that Tony didn't need to pay her, he insisted because, well, in his words, she needed to pay off her culinary school tuition, and that didn't make sense at all because (Y/n) had already paid it off a long time ago.

The Avengers make their way to the kitchen, lured by the smell of bacon and the sound of Rihanna's "Love on the Brain" playing from the speaker resting beside the stove.

(Y/n) had a chart made of each Avengers' breakfast every morning, and, unknownst to her, the others had made sure there were mornings where there were multiple of the same breakfasts

(Y/n) had a chart made of each Avengers' breakfast every morning, and, unknownst to her, the others had made sure there were mornings where there were multiple of the same breakfasts. The Avengers had done this to give (Y/n) a bit of a break.

It was Saturday, which meant everyone had pancakes on their chart - well, except for Thor, who only ever ate poptarts for breakfast.

(Y/n) sets each Avengers' pancakes in front of them sitting at the table set in a room off the kitchen.

After giving each Avenger their breakfast, (Y/n) makes her way back into the kitchen and sticks her plate of pancakes in the microwave to keep warm before cleaning up the mess in the kitchen.

(Y/n) notices when Natasha enters the kitchen. Now, (Y/n) had a sense that Natasha Romanoff had a massive crush on her. But it seemed that Natasha didn't even know what was going on with herself and her feelings.

"Hi (Y/n)," the former assassin says, and (Y/n) glances over at her, her eyes already glimmering with amusement.

"Hi, Nat," (Y/n) responds, and Natasha's cheeks immediately flush red. "You a little warm there, Nat?" she asks, and Natasha shakes her head.
