Scarlett's POV:

It was a dip in the bed that woke me up. It startled me a little and took me a while to take in my surroundings. I rubbed at my eyes and realised that I was still in bed with Y/n, my arm was wrapped loosely around her waist, her arm over my shoulder and her head resting on my own. "Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you?" I heard a whispered voice.

I looked up and saw Sophie perched on the end of the bed. "Sorry, we must have fallen asleep watching the movie." I said, sitting up and noticing that Lizzie and Ava weren't there. "They moved to Ava's room, so they didn't hurt Y/n in the night." Sophie explained with a smirk on her face. "Although I have many, many comments about this situation." Sophie started, wiggling her finger between Y/n and I, "I need to wake her up for her meds." She said still whispering.

I turned to Y/n who was peacefully sleeping and couldn't help but smile. "Yeah, right of course." I said, suddenly feeling a little awkward. I went to slip out of the bed, but I was stopped my Sophie. "You're fine where you are. It'll only take a few minutes." She assured me and I turned once again to Y/n, but this time to wake her up. I gave her a gently shake of her shoulders and she started to stir.

In her waking state, her face scrunched up into a cute little pout. "Y/n/n, wakey wakey." Sophie said in a sing song voice as Y/n yawned. "Yeah, yeah, I'm awake." She mumbled. I smiled at her slightly awkwardly as she made eye contact with me, noticing how we were sleeping. "Sorry." She said adjusting to sit up. "You're good." I replied, helping to plump up her cushions.

Sophie cleared her throat and both our attention quickly snapped to the blonde, holding a glass of water, a pill bottle and a smirk on her face. "As much as I'm enjoying witnessing this tension between you two, it is 3am and I would very much like to get back to bed." She teased, moving closer to the bed. "Right, sorry. Hand them over." Y/n said reaching out for the pills.

I found myself watching her intently as she downed the pills and hands the glass back to Sophie. "You know, I can set an alarm and do this myself." Y/n said, getting comfortable in the bed again. "I know, but I like being able to help." Sophie replies. "You already do so much, and it will make me feel more capable." Y/n argued. I sat awkwardly whilst the two of them had their discussion.

"Yeah, you're right sorry. Well, I guess I'll leave you both for your beauty sleep." Sophie said with a wink. "Thanks Soph." Y/n whisper yelled as she left the room. She turned her attention back to me and it was obvious she was feeling a little awkward. "I um, can go sleep on the couch." I offer, knowing that we hadn't meant to end up sleeping in the same bed. "Why would you do that when there's a perfectly good bed here. Unless you're uncomfortable." She stumbles over her words slightly at the end as she second guesses herself.

I smile at how cute she is when she gets nervous. "I'll stay if that's ok?" I replied hesitantly. A grin slowly formed on her face, which she quickly tried to hide. "Well, it's late, or early, either way I'm tired." She yawned and started to get comfortable again. She fell asleep pretty quickly and I found myself observing her. Her bruises were turning a lovely shade of yellow and the gash on her head was healing pretty well.

Whilst I was busy admiring the woman led beside me, she adjusted in her sleep, her head falling back to my shoulder, letting out a content sigh. Feeling comfortable I snuggle into her slightly and find myself falling into a deep sleep.

______________

"MUMMY! LIZZIE'S MAKING PANCAKES". Ava's voice woke Y/n up with a fright as she shot up in bed, instantly grabbing at her stomach, groaning. Her movement had woken me up and I was quickly to her side. "You're ok, you're home." I said comfortingly whilst rubbing my hand up and down her back to help calm her down. "Sorry, that just scared me a little. I'm ok." She said catching her breath, slightly embarrassed.
